THE SEARCH OF THE SECRET EGG

EPISODE 1

There is one community called UGWUELE located in Abia State in Nigeria,

UGWUELE is a well blessed community that produce great people in Nigeria,

UGWUELE has one powerful river called iyiosa the river cure sickness, 

any sickness you are suffering if you drink the water you will be cured,  

And UGWUELE is being rule by a king name Nnamba (ii) 

King Nnamba (ii)  married a beautiful wife called Ugodiya, and they born only one daughter called Ijeoma,

Princess Ijeoma is so beautiful but she lack respect,

King Nnamba (ii) has no son that will inherit his throne when he die,

 because according to UGWUELE  tradition if a king dies the son will inherit the throne,

 but if the king don't have a son, 

anybody that marry the king first daughter will be crown as the king of the community,

There is one guy called chinedu,

God give chinedu talent to see vision through his dreams, 

but anytime chinedu sees vision and tell people about the vision some will said that he is suffering from malaria that he should go and treat himself, 

Chinedu have two brothers called ibuchi and  onyebuchi,

 and he have only one sister called precious ,

 chinedu mother is still alive but his father is dead,

Chinedu have only one friend called chukwuebuka,

One night chinedu is dreaming he saw in his dream that one day he is going to marry princess Ijeoma,

When chinedu wake up in the morning he is not too happy about the dream because he didn't like princess Ijeoma,

Princess Ijeoma disrespect people anyhow,

Ijeoma think that because of she came from the royal family, 

that she no need to respect other people,

 chinedu said to himself ok if it is the will of the god's let it be.

 UGWUELE is the only community you will see in Nigeria that people don't die anyhow there,

 people grow old in that community,

 if you come there you will see people that have reach  up to three hundred years old (300 years old)

 and they are still healthy and bouncing,

Is because of that river called iyiosa river, 

the river cure all kinds of sickness,

Many people come far away to come and drink iyiosa river  so that they will be cured from th

ere sickness,

In UGWUELE if you see a king or a queen or princess any of the royal family,

you need to bow down to the person until the king or any of the royal family crosses you before you stand up and start going where you planned already,

After that day chinedu saw the vision that he will marry princess Ijeoma in future, 

Chinedu decide not to bow down to princess Ijeoma  anytime he sees her on the way,

 because in UGWUELE you don't bow down to your wife,

But chinedu have not marry princess Ijeoma already,

I don't know the reason why he decide not to bow down to Ijeoma,

One day princess Ijeoma is passing on the way she saw chinedu coming,

Chinedu didn't bow down to ijeoma  when he crosses her,

Ijeoma turns back and said  to chinedu heee stop there, 

what makes you not to bow down to me to great me,

Chinedu said nothing,

Ijeoma said to chinedu are you mad,

 is like you are out of your mind,

 ok you see your princess you didn't great her are you mad,

Chinedu said to Ijeoma I'm not mad, I didn't see you,

Ijeoma said oh I'm too small for you abby,

Ijeoma order her bodyguards to arrest chinedu and lock him to the palace cell, 

the bodyguards grab chinedu and go to the palace cell and lock him there.

Two hours later,

The queen is passing along the palace cell, 

she heard a voice singing,

 the queen decide to know the person who is singing inside that cell, 

when the queen reach there, she saw chinedu and she ask the bodyguards who is this guy, who brought him here,

One of the bodyguard said to the queen is princess Ijeoma that kept him here,

Queen ugodiya said ok let me go and ask her the reason why she locked this guy here, what did the guy do to warrant this arrest

The queen enter inside their palace and she said to ijeoma, 

who is that guy you locked in that cell, 

what did he do tell me ok,

Ijeoma said to her mother ugodiya that guy don't get respect,

 imaging he saw me on the road he didn't bow down to greet me,

 could you imaging mum,

 I ask him what makes you not  to greet me, 

he said that he didn't see me, mum I'm I too small,

 I decide to arrest him and put him where he deserve to stay,

The queen said to princess ijeoma no be like that my daughter,

 normally if not because of this our tradition that says if you see any of the royal family on the way, 

you must bow down for the person until he/she will pass you before you stand up, 

If not for this, you suppose to greet that guy first because he seniors  you, 

sometimes you need to consider some people,

The queen said to princess ijeoma go and free that guy he didn't do you anything,

 do you heard what I said,

Ijeoma said no mother the guy need to suffer small so that he will learn his lessen in a hard way,

The queen said go and free that guy or I will go and tell Nnamba (ii) your father,

Ijeoma said to her mother is because of one thing that makes me to change my mind if not,

 I will not free that stupid guy,

Ijeoma walk straight to the cell to free chinedu,

 when she reach there ijeoma said to chinedu you get luck that my mother is around if not you will rot in this place,

Chinedu didn't say a word, 

ijeoma order the bodyguards to free chinedu they freed him,

When chinedu was going home he stop in front of princess ijeoma  and look at her like ten seconds and started going home,

When chinedu reach there house he said to his mother, are you away that I'm coming back now from the palace cell,

His mother said no, what did you do for them to put you inside the cell,

Chinedu said nothing is just that I didn't bow down to princess ijeoma, 

she ordered her bodyguards to arrest me and put me in the cell, 

If not for her mother the queen I may not come back today,

 because according to ijeoma she said that I will rot in that cell,

Chinedu mother said why you didn't bow down to princess ijeoma, 

you know that our traditions requires you to bow down and greet her,

Chinedu said to his mother I have a reason but I will not tell anybody for now until the time reach,

Chinedu mother said reason or not reason you suppose to greet her,

 please don't put me into  trouble oh I beg of you, 

You know that  we don't have money and you want to challenge the royal family, 

please don't put me into trouble,

Chinedu said to his mother OK I have heard you,

Chinedu later said to his mother I'm coming,

 I want to go and see my friend chukwuemeka, I will be back soon, 

His mother said ok,

Chinedu left and go to his friend's house, 

when chinedu reach to chukwuemeka's house  he tell him what happened between him and ijeoma, 

Even his friend chukwuemeka blame him for what happened, 

Chinedu said I know that I supposed to bow down to her as traditions demands,

 But I do what I did for a reason, 

but I won't tell anybody for now,

Chukwuemeka said to him even me your best friend why,

Chinedu said I didn't even tell my mother about it,

 I know that you are my best friend but wait for now because I have not understand the vision I saw, 

I'm still confuse about the vision, 

but what baffles me is that  anything I see must come to pass, 

but you see this one, 

to be honest with you I'm totally confused,

Chukwuemeka said to him ok no problem,

Chinedu said to chukwuemeka let's go to iyiosa river,

 I like going there I swear, 

I love the way the river is healing people,

 but truly that iyiosa river is very powerful,

I don't know the can power inside that river,

Chukwuemeka said ok let's go.

When chinedu and chukwuemeka reach to iyiosa river many crowd where there,

 people where moving in and out from the iyiosa river,

Peolpe are rushing to iyiosa river for them to drink the water for their sickness to be cured,

Because of iyiosa river UGWUELE is being respected in the whole of Nigeria today,

 that's what makes Nigeria government to be paying UGWUELE community annual rent every year till date, 

as long as the river is still flowing,

 they get their money every year, 

Nigeria government said that is not easy for this can river that cured sickness to come from  UGWUELE,

it means that there place is well blessed by God,

Through the money the Nigeria government is paying to UGWUELE community,

 is where the royal family is getting their allocations from, 

both the town union president and the youth President both the women's wind,

  they all get their allocations from the money Nigeria government pays them,

Nigeria government said to UGWUELE any day this iyiosa river stop curing people or run's dry that they will stop the allocations they are granting them,

Because of this thing Nigeria government said UGWUELE community don't play with iyiosa river, 

They keep the place clean, 

Chinedu said to chukwuemeka God bless this our community for given us this iyiosa river, 

Chukwuemeka said to chinedu yes I have not see or hear this can river before, 

many people testified about the river that the river is so powerful,

Chinedu said let me go and drink the water ones more, 

he go inside there and drink the iyiosa river,

 even chukwuemeka do the same thing, 

they later went back to there home,

One evening like that king Nnamba (ii) summon his cabinets for them to discuss  the important issues that concern the community,

When all the cabinets arrived, 

Chief chidike  was there

Chief Sunday was there

Chief innocent was there

Chief victor was there

Chief Israel was there

Chief iroha was there

Chief ibeaja was there

Chief Cosmas Emenike was there,

Later  king Nnamba (ii) come inside the palace and his cabinets stand up and greet him

King Nnamba (ii) sit down and he ask his cabinets to sit down also,

King Nnamba (ii) said I greet you all my elders, 

The purpose of calling this meeting is for us to look into some certain things we need to be doing in this community,

One of them is, we need to start investing with the money we are receiving from Nigeria government, 

 so that when they stop giving us the money, 

the community will still have another source of income,

 that will be giving us money to manage the affairs of this UGWUELE,

King Nnamba (ii) said we need many investment built by UGWUELE community,

Second one is just to thank the youths of UGWUELE for what they are doing in this our community, 

In making sure our community is tranquillity,

 only this one is the best,

How they handle criminal case in this community,

How they corporate inside and outside of this community, 

How they are making us proud in times of football, 

in times of our culture, 

I swear they are the best,

King Nnamba (ii) said to his cabinet the main reason for the meeting is for us to start the project I talked about now, 

After the king finished  saying what he want to tell his cabinets,

Chief cosmos emenike stand up and said to the king,

I greet you my king,

 I want to say something concerning the investment you just suggested now  for us to build,

My king you bring a good idea, 

your suggestion is the best,

Yes this community needs another source of income, 

so that UGWUELE will not be poor again in this world,

My king I support you hundred percent (100%),

After chief cosmos emenike finish what he want to say

Chief ibeaja said greetings my king you are a wise king, 

you deserved the king you are right now, 

Thank you for having this can dream for this our  community, 

we your cabinets accept your suggestions, 

It is the best sugge

We need to invest as much as we can,

 so that this community will never be poor in life,

Other cabinets concur with the king's suggestions,

After they finished their meeting the king dismiss everybody, 

they all go back to there various homes,

One day princess ijeoma is passing in one road in UGWUELE community,

 coincidentally she meet chinedu on the way again, 

This time around chinedu didn't even make as if he saw her, 

Chinedu just pass her,

Immediately Princess ijeoma said to chinedu hee stop there,

Chinedu stopped,

 Princess ijeoma said to him you again, 

you are challenging me in this community,

But wait oh what is giving you the courage to stand before my presents to challenge me,

Chinedu said to ijeoma nothing just  that anything that happen in this world happened for a reason,

Ijeoma said to chinedu every time you come close to me you will be talking rubbish,

 what is wrong with you self,

Chinedu said Nothing is wrong with me,

Ijeoma said to chinedu ok you are telling me that this rubbish you are doing to me now was a reason, 

which idiotic reason are you talking about, 

you will see your princess you will not greet her abby,

You get luck that I'm beginning to love this your stupidity if not for that,

 I will arrest you now and locked you in our cell,

Ijeoma said to chinedu get out from my face you Wealthless  boy, 

Ijeoma walk away,

Chinedu said in his mind,

 the gods I'm talking to you, 

are you sure this girl will be my wife in future because I'm not seeing any sign,

 but how will this be possible, 

a poor guy like me marrying the princess of this community UGWUELE,

 how can that be possible, 

The princess I know will like to marry from rich family, 

not a poor family like my own,

Ok oh let me leave it for the gods, 

I think they said that the gods are wise,

 let me allow the gods to finish the work,

But in a human imaginary I'm not seeing princess ijeoma being my wife in future, 

with the way I'm seeing things now, 

after he finished saying all this things,

Chinedu started going to mmeri junction to welcome one man that charted him from Facebook about the iyiosa river,

 that he want to come to UGWUELE to drink the iyiosa river so that he will be heald from his sickness,

the man said that he is suffering from AIDS, 

I send him our location, he decide to come,

When chinedu reach the mmeri  junction the man is already there waiting for him,

Chinedu said to the man you are welcome, 

now your sickness will be cured as you step your foot here,

Chinedu carry the man and go straight to the iyiosa river, 

after the man drink the water he automatically became heald,

The man thank chinedu and said to chinedu what will I use to reward you now because without you I will not come to this iyiosa river,

Chinedu said to the man how can I collect money from where I didn't work is not possible,

I'm not the one that cured you is the first place,

 is the iyiosa river that cured you, 

so I'm not taking the glory of iyiosa river,

You can go and testify the power of iyiosa river ok,

The man thank chinedu and said to him  I will visit you one day,

 the man left the place,

One night chinedu was in the dream he saw disaster coming to UGWUELE in future, 

A great one,

When chinedu wake up he was shock about the vision he saw,

Chinedu said to himself no it will not be my community portion,

nothing will happen to this my beautiful community that I cherished most,

Chinedu said I will only tell chukwuemeka and princess ijeoma about this for ijeoma to inform the king,

Chinedu go and stand in a junction leading to the palace, 

to know if he will see princess ijeoma passing the place,

Chinedu stay there like four hours waiting ijeoma,

Later princess ijeoma started crossing the junction,

 this time around chinedu bow down to greet ijeoma, 

this is the first time of chinedu bowing down to ijeoma,

since the day he saw that in future he will marry princess ijeoma since that day he decide not to bow down to greet her,

But this time around chinedu bow down to greet ijoema,

Even ijeoma is surprise that this stubborn guy greet her,

Ijeoma said to chinedu what do you want to say again this time around,

but I'm surprise you greeted me,

Chinedu said to ijeoma I want to tell you something,

 God gave me the talent to see vision and

 all the whole vision they revealed to me so far comes to pass,

I was is my dream I saw a great disaster befallen this our community UGWUELE in future, 

I saw it in my dream chinedu said,

Ijeoma said to chinedu thank God you said in your dream, 

What I will tell you now is that you are suffering from malaria syndrome, 

you can rush to iyiosa river to drink the water so that you will be free from your sickness ok,

Ijeoma said to chinedu you are just dreaming it can never come to passed is just a dream,

I'm beginning to suspect you in this community is like you are an enemy of progress, 

Anytime you come closed to me all I see  from you is bad bad things,

 bad bad thoughts why are you like this,

Chinedu said to ijeoma what I just told you now is on the way coming,

 we need to do something before is too late, 

We need to consult the gods now to  quench the power behind the disaster coming in this our community,

Chinedu said to ijeoma you are doubting me now but when it happens I will tell you that I told you about something like this,

Chinedu said to ijeoma I have delivered my message to you,

Is up to you to inform the king Nnamba (ii) about this things I just revealed to you, 

I'm going 

Chinedu left the place,

Ijeoma said  I don't have your time she left.

Chinedu walk straight to chukwuemeka's house to tell him about the dream,

When chinedu reach there, 

Chukwuemeka is sleeping,

Chinedu knock at his door and said chukwuemeka is me chinedu your friend,

 please open the door for me,

Chukwuemeka opened the door chinedu entered inside and sit down,

Chinedu said to chukwuemeka I want to tell you something,

Chukwuemeka said what is that,

Chinedu started talking, he said I was in my dream last night,

 I saw a great disaster befallen this our community,

 if care is not taking it may consume this community,

I have approach to princess ijeoma for her to tell the king about what I told her, 

but she said I'm suffering from malaria,

She didn't take my words for anything,

I just decided to tell you about the vision,

UGWUELE community need to do something before is too late,

Chukwuemeka said to chinedu there is fire on the mountain,

 what do we need to do now,

Chinedu said to chukwuemeka is not time to act fast in this case, 

let us wait for princess ijeoma to tell the king first,

 before i know the next plan,

Chukwuemeka said ok, 

he later ask chinedu about his people,

Chinedu said they are all fine,

Chinedu later went back home,

When princess ijeoma reach there home she didn't tell her father the king,

 about the dream chinedu told her,

She take the dream for granted,

One week later,

There was a girl called ifunanyachukwu, 

her parents has die in motor accident,

Is only ifunanyachukwu that is still alive in there family,

Ifunanyachukwu was just a poor girl that is hopping that one day she will make it in life

One day some youths in UGWUELE community is pursuing one criminal like that, 

the criminal snatch one woman her bag, 

her phone is inside the bag both her two hundred thousand naira  (200,000) is inside the bag,

The criminal is running towards ifunanyachukwu,

When the criminal reach where ifunanyachukwu is,

 the criminal throw the bag he is holding to ifunanyachukwu body and run away,

Those youths that is pursuing the criminal stop and grab ifunanuachukwu,

 and they said ifunanyachukwu is the one that send that person to go and steal for her,

 so that she will have something to eat,

Ifunanyachukwu said to the youths I'm not the one that send that criminal,

 the criminal  just  want to commit me, 

to tarnish my image,

One of the youth there give ifunanyachukwu a hottest slap and ifunanyachukwu started crying,

The youth carry her to the palace to tell the king what happened,

When they reach to the palace,

One of the youth there stand up and  said to the king,

I greet you my king,

 this girl here send one guy to go and snatch one women her bag, 

When we started chasing the guy he run and give ifunanyachukwu the bag and said take what you  send me and the criminal run away,

The king ask ifunanyachukwu are they saying the truth,

Ifunanyachukwu said no,

 my king I didn't do anything, 

the criminal just want to set me up,

  I don't know the person, 

he is running and he throw the bag on my body just to commit me nothing more,

My king I swear with my life I don't know anything concerning the stealing,

King Nnamba (ii) said to the youths is she saying the truth or not

Some said yes but majority said no that she is the one that send that criminal to go and steal that bag for her,

 so that she will see what to eat,

Ifunanyachukwu said no I don't know the criminal,

king Nnamba (ii) said to ifunanyachukwu majority carry's the votes,

Many youths here said that you are the one that send that criminal to go and get you money you will be using to sustain yourself,

The king ask those youths that brought ifunanyachukwu to his palace to go and flog her mercilessly,

The youths take her away,

One of those youths there is the one that set her up,

 because the guy have been asking ifunanyachukwu everyday for her to be his girlfriend but she refused, 

since that day  the guy was planning evil towards ifunanyachukwu, 

He decide to commit her this way, 

but the guy is not away that it will resulted this way,

 he later regret it and ask God for forgiveness,

The youths carry ifunanyachukwu to there market place, 

for them to disgrace her in public,

When they reach there they naked her in the public,

People started saying many things,

Some said hee what I'm I seeing here,

 is it not that things ifunanyachukwu use to do guy for us, 

is it not what everybody is even torching and seeing now,

Some said chai I know this girl and I can swear for her that she is not away of the thing they tag on her,

People said many things,

The youths flog her mercilessly, 

even blood comes out from her body,

After the youths finished punishing ifunanyachukwu, 

they carry her to their home,

 because ifunanyachukwu can't go back home alone,

 do to the punishment she received from the youths,

 makes her not to walk,

before the youths carry her back to her house,

EPISODE 6

When ifunanyachukwu reach her home, 

she started crying and saying God why me nah,

 why did I deserved all this can things,

 what did I do to people that warrant this level of humiliation,

Now people will be seeing me as a criminal without me doing anything chai God why,

I can't withstand this ignominy,

I need to do something because my career is finished in this community,

 is better for me to join my parents where they are, 

Ifunanyachukwu decided to commit suicide,

 before she killed herself, 

Ifunanyachukwu curse UGWUELE and said to them, 

as I'm about to die now,

  every first daughter in this community will die also, 

I caused UGWUELE they will see no peace in this live,

Ifunanyachukwu later commit suicide through hanging,

When the villagers heard about what happened ,

 they where so surprise,

Many started saying chai this girl is innocent, 

but who set her up, 

People say many things concerning the issues,

When chinedu heard about what happened to ifunanyachukwu,

 he said to himself, 

with my own understanding,

 this ifunanyachukwu case will be the source of the disaster befallen UGWUELE in the future, 

but why did those youth do this can thing,

 without proper investigation,

 this is not fair.

One month later.

One early morning the villagers is still sleeping,

 thunder started striking without rain falling,

 immediately every first daughter in UGWUELE became sick automatically, 

very serious one, 

that makes them not to talk or walk even to see,

 Both Princess ijeoma is infected too,

In that morning when people notice that their sister is infected with sickness, 

Many people started crying, 

even in the palace, 

many voices started echoing from different dimensions,

When people wanted to go to iyiosa river for their sisters to drink the water for their sickness to be cured, 

when they reach in that iyiosa river, 

they saw that iyiosa river has dried up,

This is the first time this iyiosa river has ever dried in history,

Everybody was shock about what is happening in their village,

Even the king is surprise,

When chinedu heard  about what happened,

 he said to himself I saw it coming, 

but I could not stop it chai, 

Two hours later many villagers started carrying their sisters to the palace,

 to complain to the king about what happened,

 to know what to do next,

When they reach the palace, 

they discovered that even the princess itself is infected too, 

the villagers became afraid and they said to the king, 

what is the cause of all this calamity that befallen this our community,

King Nnamba (ii) said I'm confused right now,

 you people should go for now let me and my cabinets look into the matter,

 I will give you people feedback ok,

All the villagers started crying and going  back to  there various homes,

That evening the king summon his cabinets,

When every cabinet has arrived,

The king started talking to them, 

he said,

 I greet you my elders, 

the elders responded back,

The king said to them,

 you all is seeing what is happening to our community,

 I want us to discuss how to resolve this matter at hand now because I'm confused,

Chief Sunday stand up and said,

my king I greet you,

 my fellow elder I greet you all,

He said what is happening in our community right now, 

not only ridiculous but frightened,

We need to consult the gods for solution,

Even our iyiosa river that is our source of income in this community has dried up,

We need to do something urgently,

When chief Sunday finished talking 

Chief iroha stand up and said, 

I greet you my king and my elders,

chief iroha said I concur with chief Sunday for what he said concerning the gods he talked  about, 

We need to do it fast before its too late,

 after chief iroha finished talking,

King Nnamba (ii) said, I have heard you all,

 I will consult our soothsayer to know what we will do next, 

I will call him tomorrow morning,

All The whole cabinets concur and they went back home,

Tomorrow morning when the soothsayer arrived to the palace, 

the king told him everything that has happened already,

the soothsayer said I have heard you my king,

He started doing some incantation after he finish the incantations he said to the king, 

The cause of this disaster that befall this community,

Is because of a girl called ifunanyachukwu,

 that was label a criminal and disgrace in public, 

Ifunanyachukwu later lay a curse in this community,

 and she hang herself and die,

The king said oh that girl chai,

She cry and pleaded for mercy but nobody heard her cry chai,

The king said to the soothsayer what are me going to do now to calm the gods anger,

The soothsayer started doing some incantations,

 after he finished,

 he said to the king, 

The gods said you people should go inside the eboukwu evil forest and bring the secret egg back to the palace,

When the egg arrived in this community everything will come to normal,

The king said to the soothsayer but the eboukwu forest is very deadly, 

anybody that go inside that eboukwu forest will not come out alive, 

Since history no body has go in there and survive,

The soothsayer said that is the only solution to this community problem,

 if not, both your daughter and other ones that is infected with sickness will die,

 and again the iyiosa river Will forever runs dry,  

UGWUELE need to do something before is too late, 

the gods has spoken,

The soothsayer left the palace.

In the evening the king summon his cabinets to tell them what the soothsayer said,

When the cabinets arrived at his palace,

The king started addressing them, 

He started telling his cabinets what the soothsayer told him,

After the youths finished punished her,

when she reach her home,

 ifunanyachukwu could not  withstand the public disgrace visited upon her, 

she decide to commit suicide by hanging herself,

 before she died ifunanyachukwu curse this community UGWUELE, 

and that is the reason why all this things is happening to our community,

 And the soothsayer said to me that the only solution to this our problem, 

is for us to go inside the eboukwu evil forest, 

to go and bring back the secret egg, 

and you all know that nobody has ever go in there and comes back alive, 

we need to know what to do, 

so that it will not be too late to save this our community.

After king Nnamba (ii) finish saying what he wanted to tell his cabinets.

Chief Innocent stand up and said, 

I greet you my king and my fellow elders,

He said, 

you see my king, 

is good to do proper investigation before the final judgement, 

When I heard about ifunanyachukwu case I said to my self, 

I can even swear for ifunanyachukwu that she is innocent,

My king this will be a big lesson to you for another day,  

About the eboukwu evil forest you talked about,

 noun of our youths will like to go inside the forest, 

because of what they have been hearing many year's ago about the forest.

After chief innocent finish speaking to the King and the elders,

Chief ibeaja stand up and said, 

I greet you my king and my fellow elders,

He said, 

something that is bigger than elephant has entered inside the ants mouth,

 the worst has happened,

What are we going to do in this matter now,

Even my daughter is laying down helplessly in my house now, 

without her talking, 

without her eating, 

without her knowing where she is, 

my king I'm confused right now,

 we need to do something he said.

After chief ibeaja finish talking.

King Nnamba (ii) said to himself chai, if you are planning another thing,

 Another thing will be coming your way chai,

Last time people tried to enter inside that eboukwu forest all of them die at the spot,

And if I ask our youths now to go inside that  eboukwu forest, 

noun of them will listen to me,

What will I do now, 

what will I do now,

Ok the king said, 

I'm promising anybody that will go inside that  eboukwu forest, 

to go and bring that secret egg back to our community, 

will marry my daughter, 

and you all know that anyone that marry's my daughter, 

will be crown as the king of this community when I'm no more in this world.

The king said I will summon all the whole youth tomorrow morning to tell them about the promise I made now.

After the king finish talking to his cabinets.

Chief cosmos emenike said,

yes this offer will motivate many people to go inside that eboukwu forest to bring the secret egg back to this our community,

 for them to marry the princess, 

so that the person will become the king of this community in future, 

My king you have tried ones more, he said,  

for giving out your daughter for the betterment of this our community,

 this offer will pull out many people to go in there, 

thank you ones more.

All the whole cabinets thank the king for his great offer,

in making sure that normalcy returned in UGWUELE community,

When they finished the meeting the king dismissed them,

and they all went back to their various homes,

In that evening the king tell his town-crier to go around the community and tell every youths that I want to see them in my palace tomorrow morning,

That night the town-crier walk around UGWUELE community to inform the youths that the king want to see them tomorrow morning in his palace.

Tomorrow morning every youths of UGWUELE  both chinedu and his friend chukwuemeka they all gather in the palace waiting for the king to come and address them,

Later the king comes out where the youths of UGWUELE gathered,

When the youths of UGWUELE sees the king,

 all of them shouted long live the king,

The king greet them back,

The king said them, 

the youths of UGWUELE i greet you all,

 the reason why I summoned you guys is because of the disaster that befall our community,

Yesterday I consulted our soothsayer, 

he said to me that the only solution to our problem, 

is for us to go inside the eboukwu evil forest to go and bring back the secret egg, 

so that normalcy will return in this community again,

And I'm promising you guys, anybody that will go inside that eboukwu forest and bring the secret egg back to this our community,

I want you guy to go back to your various homes and think about it, 

We need to save this our community,

 please the king pleaded to the youths.

All the youths said to the king we have heard what you said.

The youth started going back to their homes,

 on there way going home some youths started saying,

Some  said I'm not going to that eboukwu evil forest, 

okey  the king want us to go in there and die just like that Abby,

 when he is much away that anybody that entered inside that eboukwu forest will never comes back alive,

 no I'm not going anywhere.

Some of the youths said chai this our king offer is good oh, 

ok if I bring the secret egg now I will marry the princess of this our community,

and becomes the king in future, 

chai I love this offer oh, 

but the problem is, will I survive the journey,

 they asked.

When chinedu reach their home he said to himself I'm not going anywhere, 

my father told me everything about this eboukwu forest,

how people die trying to enter inside the forest,

 no I'm not going anywhere.

The following day.

chinedu was inside his room, he started thinking about going to the eboukwu forest for the secret egg, 

he said in his mind, 

I suppose to follow those that will go to this eboukwu evil forest to go and bring back the secret egg, 

so that we will be free from this disaster that visited our community, 

even though i die in the process I don't care to know,

I need to sacrifice to my community UGWUELE, 

If I allowed  our sisters to die like that and even iyiosa river, 

the greatest river in Nigeria today,

 to just dried like that, I'm sure that a great thing happened to us,

I'm ready to sacrifice my self,

 to my blessed community UGWUELE,

 if this is the last thing I will do for my community I'm very very happy with it.

Chinedu is still thinking and talking to himself,

 before his friend chukwuemeka come to their house.

Chinedu welcome him and gave him a sit.

Chukwuemeka said to chinedu how far,

Chinedu said I'm fine, I'm just here thinking about what the king told us yesterday, 

about going to the eboukwu forest for the secret egg.

Chukwuemeka said to chinedu is what I even come to discuss with you,

Since that day the king told us about the journey to eboukwu forest, 

I have been thinking about it also, he said,

chinedu what are we going to do now,

 are we going to go to the forest or not, 

because I'm ready to die for my community.

Chinedu said to chukwuemeka is like my spirit and your spirit is working together, 

because before you came here, I was thinking the same thing you are telling me now,

 I said, even if I die in the process of saving my community, 

that I'm not bothered about it,

 is a badge of honor,

Chukwuemeka we need to go to that forest to know if we will succeed in bringing back the secret egg or not.

 but we need to go first.

Chukwuemeka said to chinedu yes we need to go, I concur with you.

Chinedu and chukwuemeka decided to go to the evil forest, 

Chinedu said we need to go to the palace to inform the king, 

that we are ready to go to the eboukwu evil forest for the secret egg.

Chukwuemeka said yes let's go there.

They started going to the palace.

When chinedu and chukwuemeka reach to the palace, 

they meet one of the bodyguard and said to him, 

go and tell the king that two of us is ready to go to the eboukwu forest for the secret egg.

The bodyguard rush inside the palace to inform the king about the message chinedu and chukwuemeka brings.

When the king heard about it, he was so happy, and he said to the bodyguard, go and bring them here.

The bodyguard go outside and tell chinedu and chukwuemeka that the king said they should come inside.

Chinedu and chukwuemeka go inside there to meet the king nnamba (ii),

when they reach there, 

They said to the king, long live the king.

King Nnamba (ii) greet them back.

Chinedu said my king we have concluded to go to the eboukwu forest for the secret egg,

 even if we die in the process we are satisfied.

Chukwuemeka backed chinedu and said,

 yes my king even if is the last thing we will do for this community,

 we are satisfied with it.

The king said to chinedu and chukwuemeka you guys have done very well,

 I'm so excited for hearing this good news, the king said, 

I'm thanking you guys for coming out, 

because I have been thinking and saying in my mind,

 that no one will accept to go to that eboukwu evil forest, 

thank God you guys showed up, 

now I can have small rest of mind.

Later in the day when many people heard that chinedu and chukwuemeka have summited their names, for those that will go to the eboukwu evil forest to bring the secret egg back to this community.

Some of them was surprise and they said to themselves that they will not go anywhere.

 and some of them said they will go because of chinedu and chukwuemeka have summited their names already, 

that is the reason why some of them said that  they will go to the eboukwu evil forest,

Some said to themselves, 

see chinedu way no feet kill even ant or fly,

 wants to go to eboukwu evil forest to go and bring the secret egg back to our community,

chinedu think going to eboukwu forest is a child's play,

 if he said that he is going there then I'm going too, they said.

Before the evening of that day chinedu and chukwuemeka summited their names, 

six more people bring there names.

Their names are,

(1) ikechi

(2) chiwemmeri 

(3) chiagozie

(4) uchechi

(5) kelechukwu

(6) chibueze

Total number of people summited their names is eight (😎 people.

The king was happy about the numbers of people he is seeing.

After that day,

 the next day the king summon his cabinets,

 to tell them the progress he has made in raising men that will go to eboukwu evil forest to go and bring back the secret egg.

When all his cabinets has arrived, 

The king said to them, 

eight people have bring their names for the journey to go to eboukwu forest to bring back the secret egg.

When the cabinets hears about this good news king told them, 

they were all happy.

They said, 

thanks for the youths that have summited their names, 

that the king's cabinet is great ful to them.

the king backed his cabinets in thanking the youths, that summited their names, 

After the king dismissed his  cabinets. and they all went back home happily.

The day for they journey.

In that morning chinedu brother onyebuchi said to him, 

My brother I don't support you going to that eboukwu evil forest, 

my mind is telling me that you will not survive this journey, 

please I beg of you do not go there please,

 I don't want to lose you in this world, 

Chinedu brother cried.

Chinedu said to him don't wary even though I didn't survived it, 

I don't care to know, 

I have made up my mind to go to the forest, 

to know if I will be the one to save this community from the current plague that visited us.

Onyebuchi cried and pleaded with chinedu not to go to the forest,

 but chinedu insisted that he must go.

Chinedu started going to his friend house chukwuemeka's, to check if he has finished preparing,

 for them to go to the market square where they will all gathered first,

 before they started going to the eboukwu forest.

When chinedu reach his friend house,

 he saw that chukwuemeka brother is crying and pleading for chukwuemeka not to go to eboukwu evil forest, 

that he will not survive there if he try to go.

Chukwuemeka said to his brother stop crying,

 this your cry will not stop me from going to the forest, 

If we didn't go there now, 

how can this our community be saved,

Allow those that has made up there minds to go to eboukwu forest, 

to bring the secret egg back to this community, 

Allow them to go in peace he said.

Chukwuemeka said to chinedu let's go the gathering place.

Chukwuemeka and chinedu left immediately.

When they reach to the square where they will gather for the final address,

 before they start going to eboukwu evil forest.

The remaining six volunteers is already in the place,

With the king and the cabinets and some villagers.

King Nnamba (ii) call one native-doctor to come and fortify those that volunteers themselves  to go to  eboukwu evil forest to bring the secret egg.

The native-doctor said to chinedu and his co to line up straight,

They line up.

The native-doctor bring out eight necklace that carry's charms, 

and give it to chinedu and the others one by one,

 and the native-doctor said to them,

 wear the necklace they all wear's it,

The native-doctor bring out fresh palm-tree leaf, 

he use it and tire them on their fore-head, 

after he finished tiring them the parm-tree leaf,

The native-doctor bring out something like seed and he gave it to them one by one,

And he said to the volunteers you can now swallow it, 

all of them swallowed it,

The native-doctor said to them never you remove this your necklace I gave to you guys,

 the necklace is where your power is,

 as long as you are still hearing your necklace, to kill you will not be too easy like that,

Don't play with this necklace,

The native-doctor said to the volunteers you are now fully fortisyied,

You can now go.

before they started going where they planned.

The king said to them,

 you people will go in there and comes back alive with the secret egg,

The gods of our land will guards and protect you guys, I'm  pride of you all,

 you guys can start going, the king said.

Both the villagers said to them, you all will go and come back safely, 

nothing will happened to you guys, we love you all.

The volunteers started going.

some of them is holding bows and machetes, why some is holding big arrows.

They started singing war song and start moving fast fast towards the direction leading to the eboukwu evil forest.

When the are going chinedu called his fellow volunteers names one by one, to a address them,

He first call his friend,

He said,

Chukwuemeka, he answered.

Chiwemmeri, he answered.

Uchechi, he answered.

Chibueze, he answered.

Kelechukwu, he answered.

Chiagozie, he answered

Ikechi, he answered.

Chinedu said to them never you be afraid in the journey and the battles we are about face ahead of us,

 before you achieved anything in this world there must be a sacrifice,

 I want you all to remove fear inside you, and focus your mind in this journey we are about to start, 

be wise enough to understand the circumstances we are about to face in the front, 

reaching eboukwu evil forest is not an easy tax,

 so we need a strong mind to overcome any danger ahead of us,

 do you hear what I said.

The remaining volunteers said yes we heard you.

They started moving inside the forest.

When chinedu and other volunteers reach to one big tree inside the forest,

 they decide to rest there,

 because they have walk in the forest like eight hours, 

and they are tired,

 and they decide to rest in the three,

They started discussing to themselves,

Kelechukwu said,  this journey is not as easy as I thought, 

The worst part of it is that we don't know the particular place where the egg is,

 I thought  if we entered inside the forest, 

we will just carry the egg and started coming back,

I'm tired and frustrated.

Chukwuemeka said to kelechukwu don't be frustrated.

as they said, the patient dog eat the fattest and  hardest bone, 

in anything you are doing always be patient ok.

Kelechukwu said to chukwuemeka I know,

 but I think it is easy to find the egg.

Chinedu said to kelechukwu nothing come easy as you think in this word,

 in every successful journey, there is always a sad moment,

Be patient and focus better days is ahead of us.

Ikechi said to kelechukwu, it is too early to complain, we need to start going.

They stand up and continued their journey.

They walk like another three  hours before the cloud started glooming, 

They find one place to rest and to sleep for tomorrow journey.

They are still there discussing to themselves,

 a voice echoed from no where and said, 

hee what are you doing there,

Chinedu and other volunteers surge and stand up,

 and started looking around the place to see where the voice is coming out from, 

but they didn't see anybody,

The voice echoed again and said to them, 

what brings you where, 

is like you guys don't know where you are going to, 

you better go back now, before you enter into the realm of the spirit, 

now is the time you get to go back  from where you are coming from, 

if you insist and continue go forward, 

you will never come back alive, 

do you know where you are going to.

eboukwu is the greatest evil forest that you can't go into anyhow, 

go back now if you love your selfs,

Immediately the voice stop echoing.

Kelechukwu said I told you guys this place is dangerous, 

we suppose to go back home because I'm frightened right now, 

I don't know if I will continue or not.

Chinedu said to kelechukwu stop that childish behavior you are displaying here, 

stop discouraging others,

if you want to go back you are free to go back, nobody is holding you ok,

Is better that all of us die in the course of saving our community, 

is even better for me,

 nothing will make me to go back without reaching the eboukwu evil forest to bring the secret egg,

only thing that can stop me from reaching there is death, nothing more nothing less.

Chukwuemeka said, 

I concur with chinedu,

 is only death that can stop me from going to eboukwu forest, 

we need to start going front and leave this place.

Chiagozie said yes let's go front please.

They left the place and walk like 100 miles and  camp in one three there to sleep.

When they reach there,

 when everybody have position himself to sleep,

Only kelechukwu remove his necklace from his neck and put it inside his bag and sleep,

Later when they have slept,

One spirit with no head appear where they are sleeping, 

and walk around them seven times and stretch his hand to where the volunteers is sleeping,

 something like fire come out from his hand and hit  the volunteers, 

only kelechukwu disappear instantly,

 immediately and spirit also disappeared,

Nothing happen to The other volunteers and they didn't notice the incident that happened there.

In the morning when everybody has wake up,

 they started looking for kelechukwu, 

calling his name and searching him in the bush,

 to know if they will see kelechukwu inside the forest, 

They search and search they didn't see him.

Some started crying and asking where can I find  kelechukwu, 

Kelechukwuuuuuuuu they called.

Chinedu said is like kelechukwu is no more, 

Everybody should take heart, 

what have happen has happened, 

we need to start going, 

so that we will meet up in time ok.

They continue going inside the eboukwu forest.

On there way going ikechi said,

 I'm afraid of this journey we are making,

to be honest with you, 

see kelechukwu that speak with me just last night, is no where to be find,

Who will be the next person it could be me or you,

Is it  not better for me to go back, he sald.

Chinedu said to ikechi,

 I know that the journey is not easy, 

but remember our community UGWUELE, 

Remember that our sisters is suffering from unknown sickness,

Remember that iyiosa river has stop flowing,

We need to save our community from total destruction, 

please I beg of you to be strong, both in your mind and your thinking.

Chiwemmeri backed chinedu and said,

 we need to be strong both mentally and physically, becuas the days ahead is evil, he said.

On there way going to eboukwu evil forest.

One giant spirit  appear in there front, 

with blood dropping out from his eyes,

The giant spirit said to them,

 hee, where do you think you are going to,

 is like you don't love your self, 

all of you should go back now before I chance my mind.

Chinedu said to the giant spirit, 

 please allow us to pass, 

we want to go to the eboukwu forest to bring back the secret egg,

 so that our community will be free from the disaster visited upon us.

The spiritual giant said to chinedu, shut up your mouth, 

what did I just hear from your mouth now,

 do I hear you say eboukwu forest, 

the place is not for human beings like you guys, 

you better go back.

Chukwuemeka said to the giant spirit, 

we need to bring the egg back to our community, our people will be expecting us by now.

The spirit said to them, 

ok I have seen that you people want to try my power, 

ok let's tried it now power,

Immediately, the giant spirit rush chiagozie with the fastest running ever and cut off his head immediately.

In the same spot the giant spirit run towards chibueze to cut his own head, 

Immediately chinedu rush the giant spirit and prevented him from killing chibueze,

The giant spirit turn back and try to cut chinedu's head, 

Chinedu dodge it and use his arrow and shot the giant spirit,

 but the arrow didn't enter inside the giant spirit body, 

 Chinedu go back and  crack his brain  immediately, 

he carry one of the arrow and use the mouth of the arrow and wound himself, 

To make sure his blood spray in the mouth of the arrow,

After he finished doing that, 

he bring out his bow and use the arrow and  shot the giant spirit, 

immediately the giant spirit disappeared, 

The other volunteers started hailing chinedu,

For his bravery act that moment,

But they mourn for chiagozie, 

they said chiagozie we love you, 

and we will forever remembered you as our hero, we will meet again,

 some of the volunteers cried and cried for losing chiagozie.

Chukwuemeka said chiagozie we love you, we will meet again.

 They Started going forward,

After walking like five hundred (500)  miles, many of them started Hungary,

 because since that day,

 we started this journey,

 we have  not eating better food, 

is only fruits we take times some

That moment they are hungry but no food to eat.

On there way going to the forest, 

they saw a big plate of food on the road side,

Immediately chiwemmeri said,

 see food,

 I'm even hungry let me go and bring it, let's eat,

Chukwuemeka said to him, don't touch the food,

Chiwemmeri said but why, 

you see the food the  gods provide for us  so that we will eat it and get strength,

  to start our journey,

Chukwuemeka repeat what he said before, 

I said, don't touch the food,

 this is a trap to kill all of us,

 so don't touch it.

Chinedu said to chiwemmeri are you not hearing what chukwuemeka is saying.

Chiwemmeri said I'm not hearing anything, until i eat this food,

Chiwemmeri rush the food to carry it,

 immediately he disappear.

Chukwuemeka said, I told him but he could not hear me,

 as they said, stubborn fly always rest in the frog stomach,

chiwemmeri we miss you.

Uchechi said I'm frightened right now, 

I don't know if I will continue this journey anymore.

Uchechi said to himseif, 

 kelechukwu is daed, 

Chiagoze  is dead and now chiwemmeri is also dead,

 and you want me to continued the journey,

 no no I'm not going anymore,

Uchechi turn his back and started going.

Chinedu called him and said, 

uchechi come back here, 

going back is even dangerous than to go forward.

 two head's is better than one head, 

Come back to us let's start going.

Uchechi didn't listing to them.

Chukwuemeka said to the other volunteers, let's start going to where we planned already, 

Uchechi can't change our minds in making sure we bring the egg back the our community.

They started going.

Uchechi continued going back,

 but in the process, 

he didn't remember the road leading to UGWUELE community,

 uchechi miss the road and started going where his mind told him to go,

In the process he jam one old woman on his way coming back.

The woman shouted to him and said stop there you idiot, 

where do you think  you are going,  

Ok, you think that you can escape in this forest,

 oh, you are dreaming.

Uchechi pleaded with the woman and said to her, please spay my life, I beg you.

The woman  said to uchechi, 

no brother or sister in jungle,

Immediately the woman finish talking,

 something like arrow comes out from her eyes and hit uchechi, 

instantly uchechi fall down and die.

The woman disappear immediately.

The remaining volunteers remains four people.

 which is chinedu, chukwuemeka, chibueze and ikechi.

On there way going

Chinedu said to them.

 if you die trying to save your people, 

is a badge of honor and you will be remembered forever, 

so don't be afraid to die, 

All I'm saying now to you guys is, 

if I die in the process, 

never you stop going,

Because we are the last hope,

 our people get for now, 

we need to deliver them, to cam the pressure in the community,

Let, never give up be your motto,

 because we can't give up in this journey.

Chukwuemeka backed chinedu and he said, 

since the day I made up my mind  to join the volunteers to go to eboukwu, to bring the egg back to our community,

 is the day I count my self as a dead man walking, 

dying in the cost of defending my community,

 is the greatest accolade anyone can have in his life,

 and for me, dying in the cost of my community, is a badge of honor.

Chibueze said,  me reaching here for the first time, 

means that I'm ready to die in the first place.

Oh God, if I die, please forgive me my sin's and accept my soul, 

because nothing will stop me from completing this journey, 

Is ether by death or I succeed in bringing the egg back to my community.

They are still talking and going to there destination.

One big anaconda appear  In there front.

Chibueze first saw the anaconda, 

he said to others wait, 

they waited,

Chibueze  said look in your front.

They all looked there front and saw a very big anaconda.

The snake started talking to the volunteers,

The anaconda said, stop there where are you going to, 

who send you to come and die here,

 you better go back now before I swallow you all.

Chinedu said,

 daughter of eboukwu forest, 

please allow us to pass so that we will go and save our people, 

my people is suffering and we need to go and bring an egg in eboukwu forest,

 so that our community will be saved,

 please allow us to pass, he said.

The anaconda said, noo go back, or I swallowed you all.

Chukwueme said, to the anaconda is better you move out on our way, 

or we move you out, 

because nothing will stop us from reaching to eboukwu, 

is only death that can stop us, nothing more nothing less.

Immediately the anaconda use its tail to hit chukwuemeka but chukwuemeka defended himself,

 and use his machete to cut the anaconda,

 but it seen to me  that i hit the machete on iron, 

Immediately the anaconda rush chukwuemeka to swallow him,

Chinedu run and use his two leg and hit the anaconda,

The anaconda miss target, 

immediately, the anaconda rush ikechi.

instead of ikechi to stand and face the anaconda, 

Ikechi started running and shouting, 

please please please.

The anaconda just rush him and fold on ikechi's body and disappear.

Chibueze shouted ehh, 

ikechi are you gone, 

ok I can't see you again in this word,

 I will forever remembered you in my life, he cried.

Chinedu said, we have lost many people,

 truly the journey is not easy at all.

 we are eight at the initial time,

 but now we are three in number.

What I'm telling you guys is never give up,

 even though we all die in the process, 

we don't care to know.

Chukwuemeka said, to be honest with you,

 we have lost many people in this journey,

 what is happening self,

Immediately chinedu wake up and tell his fellow remaining volunteers about his dream.

Chinedu said to them when you reach there never you look back please.

 they said no problem.

They started going forward.

When they reach there chinedu said,

 is like we have reach the place, 

never you look back ok.

On there way crossing the place.

all of them started hearing voices from there

 back.

Chinedu said don't look back its a trap.

They have almost cross the area.

 before a voice that sound like chibueze's girl friend.

Chibueze said in his mind, 

is this not ada's voice my love, 

but what brings her here for the first place, 

is she looking for me,

 I need to listing to her, 

is like she need my help.

Chibueze turns back to check if the voice he is hearing is her girl friend voice.

 immediately he melt instantly.

That moment.

 Small thing chukwuemeka have turn his back,

 to check on chibueze that just shouted and stop.

 he wanted to turn back, but chinedu said to him never you turn back, if you do so you will die also.

Chukwuemeka recalled  himself and said,

 chibueze why did you look back for the first time, 

why chinedu told you not to look back, 

why why why he said.

 he cried and cried.

Chinedu said, is okey chukwuemeka, we need to start going ok.

They later pass the area.

Chinedu and chukwuemeka his friend is the only people remaining among the whole eight(😎 volunteers.

Chinedu and chukwuemeka walk and reach a place that resemble like a desert.

chukwuemeka said why is this place is like this.

Chinedu said, it may be the entrance of eboukwu forest, 

let's go inside there.

They entered inside the track road and started going in there.

on there way going inside the track road.

 everywhere, both the road, the side, everywhere turn to snow.

They where all surprise and chukwuemeka said to chinedu are you seeing what I'm seeing right now.

Chinedu said yes I'm surprise.

what is happening here.

chinedu said my mind is telling me that this place may turn to what will kill us

later.

 I want us to start running now,

 because we don't know what this place may turn to again.

it may be what will kill us.

Chukwuemeka said let's go.

They started running.

Chinedu said to chukwuemekarun fast,

put more pressure in your speed.

Chukwuemeka add more speed.

They are running to go out from the trap area,

Before the place turn to desert again.

Chukwuemeka said what is happening here.

 let's run more fast.

they add more speed to the one they have already added.

They are almost at the end of the trap area,

Chinedu add more speed and pass the trap area.

Chukwuemeka try to run to out from the place.

Immediately the place turn to river and chukwuemeka fall inside the river.

Chinedu stop and  shouted chukwuemeka.

By then chukwuemeka was inside the river struggling to survived.

 because he didn't know how to swim.

Surprisedly chinedu saw a big and Long bamboo, 

he carried it and put inside the river where chukwuemeka is struggly to survived.

Chukwuemeka saw the bamboo and grab it.

Chinedu drag the bamboo and chukwuemeka out from the river.

Chinedu rush to chukwuemeka and started pressing his stomach, 

water started coming out from his mouth.

Chinedu press it until all the water that entered inside chukwuemeka's body comes out.

When chukwuemeka regain himself,

 he said, thank God I survived.

They started going inside the forest.

On there way going in.

 they saw one big rock.

Chinedu said, let's go to that rock.

 they went there.

when they reach close to the rock.

they discovered that the rock has an entrance that leads inside the rock.

Chinedu said let's go in.

They entered inside the rock and saw many egg's scattered in the ground. 

As they are there looking to the egg's.

Voice come from no where and said to them.

who are you.

Chinedu respond and said,

 we are the people of UGWUELE, we come for the secret egg,

 so that our community will be save.

The voice said, I will not reject your offer because

the choice is yours.

Two of you will pick one one egg.

and anyone that picks the wrong one will die instantly.

and if two of you picks the wrong one,

two of you will die here instantly.

But anyone that pick the right one.

will have the power to disappear and appear to any place of his choice.

 The choice is yours.

the voice stop immediately.

Chukwuemeka said,

which one will I choose now.

Chinedu said I'm confused right now.

Chukwuemeka said I will choose first so that if I miss the right one.

you will try and choose the right ok.

Chukwuemeka look all the whole egg's inside the rock,

 he stretch his hand and pick one there.

Immediately he shout and fall down there and die.

Chinedu cry and weep.

he said, chukwuemeka why do you leave only me here.

I think that we will live forever, he cried.

Chinedu said to him self, which one will I choose now.

he was confuse, he just sit down there they think what he will do next.

Chinedu stay there like two (2) hours,

 thinking what to do.

small time he snooze off.

chinedu saw a vision in his dream.

 they showed him the right egg.

they said to chinedu the right egg is the one that is yellow in colour.

Immediately, chinedu wake up and go straight the the yellow egg and pick it.

Immediately Power from no where entered inside chinedu's body.

That moment chinedu has the power to disappear and appear.

Chinedu cry, because of his friend chukwuemeka and he said, I think that we will live forever.

Chinedu carry the egg and put it inside his bad and walk out from the rock and disappeared.

King Nnamba (ii) and his cabinets where in the palace discussing and saying,

What is holding our men in the forest,

Today is the seventh day and they have not come back,

If they they don't come back today.

our daughters may die and iyiosa river will forever run's dry.

What are we going to do now.

 they are still discussing is the palace.

Chinedu appear in one small bush in their community and decide to use his led to come in the palace.

 he started walking to the palace with the secret egg inside his bag.

King Nnamba (ii) said to his cabinets I don't want to loose my one and only daughter.

The king cry and said if my daughter die now,

 I have lose a big thing in this world.

 they are still talking,

 chinedu comes inside the palace.

Immediately the king and the cabinets stand up and said.

 chinedu are you back.

They said thanks to the god's of our land for using chinedu to save our land.

The king said to chinedu did you see the secret egg.

Chinedu said yes I'm with it right now.

Both the king and the cabinets jump up and shouted and  started singing and dancing.

They said finally our community will returned to normalcy again in this world.

The kind said to chinedu I will reward you in a special way,

You have fourth  for our community.

The cabinets said my son you are our hero to the end of this world.

without you we are finished, we the cabinets of this community is thanking you in a special way.

Chinedu said, greetings to my king Nnamba (ii) and the King's cabinets of UGWUELE autonomous community.

 thank you for your appreciations I welcomed it.

chinedu said we need to thank the god's of our land, 

because without the god's I may not survive the journey.

I was alive today is not by my power or my strength, but by the grace of God in heaven.

The journey is not as easy as we think it is,

Thank God finally I bring the egg back to our community.

Chinedu bring out the secret egg and give it to the king.

The king use his two hands and collect the egg.

The king call one of his bodyguard and said to him carry chinedu and show him our bathroom,

 let him take his bath after he finished taking his bathe,

Give him the royal garment, because he is now my in-law and also the future king of this community.

Chinedu go inside and take his bath and dress up with the royal garment.

The king said to his cabinets no time to waist, we need to consult the soothsayer to tell us what to do next.

The cabinets concur with the King.

The King call one of his bodyguard and said to him go and call that our soothsayer,

tell him that the king wants to see him.

The bodyguard left.

Two hours later the soothsayer arrived to the palace.

The king and cabinets welcomed him.

The King said, we have bring the secret egg,  what next.

The soothsayer said ok.

 he started doing some incantations, after he finished.

the soothsayer said to the king.

the god's of this community is happy for you guys for bringing the secret egg.

The soothsayer said to king,  by 12:00AM you and chinedu will go to iyiosa river.

when you reach there, you will first pleaded for forgiveness to the  iyiosa river.

If you reach in the river said to iyiosa river that before you finalize any case in your community again,

 that you must be very very sure that the person is truly guilty.

The reason for the disaster that befallen UGWUELE community is because of ifunanyachukwu case.

That  some youths label as a criminal and disgrace her publicly.

 because of what happened she curse this community and commit suicide and die.

 The soothsayer said after you finished pleading to iyiosa river.

you will throw the egg inside the dry river.

I'm sure the river will start flowing again.

The king said I have heard what you said.

The soothsayer started going back.

Chinedu said to the king I want to go to my house, I will come back in the night.

The king call two bodyguards and said to them  escort chinedu to his house.

Chinedu thank the king and they started going to his home with the two bodyguards.

That day chinedu's mother and his brother's where in the parlor discussing about chinedu matter, if he has die inside the eboukwu evil forest.

 that chinedu have suppose to come back by this time,

 what is holding him there.

They are still there discussing, what they hear is knock at their door.

Chinedu come inside the house with the two bodyguards.

His mother shouted my son and rush chinedu, they hug themselves.

Both chinedu's brothers where all happy because of chinedu coming back.

Chinedu mother said I'm so happy for you my son.

what happened inside the forest, how did you manage to come back.

 because since history no one has ever go inside the eboukwu evil forest before and comes back alive.

 how manage you come's back.

Chinedu tell her mother what happen inside the forest, how his fellow volunteers die in the process.

 how everything take happened.

 His mother said to chinedu your God is are alive.

They celebrate the coming back of chinedu.

In the night chinedu said to his mother I want to go to the palace I will come back tomorrow morning ok.

Chinedu left the place with the two bodygurds.

In the midnight by 11:30PM chinedu and the King started going to iyiosa river withe the secret egg, for the final solution the their problem.

They reach to the iyiosa river.

When the King and chinedu reach to iyiosa river by 12:00AM,

 the King said,

 iyiosa river and the god's of our land and the spirit of ifunanyachukwu.

 I'm very very sorry for what happened in ifunanyachukwu's case.

I was deceived, I though it was the truth.

but not knowing that it was a big allegation.

Please the god's of our land accept my apology, is not my fault I was deceived.

We have sacrifice a lot in making sure that we pleased you.

We have sacrifice a lot in making sure we bring this secret egg back to our community UGWUELE.

at of eight people that go to the eboukwu evil forest.

 is only one person that survived the journey.

We have sacrifices enough.

I want you to heal our daughters and restored this iyiosa river,

 so that our community will have peace again.

After the King finished pleading with the god's,

He throw the egg inside the dry river.

Immediately the egg hit on the ground and  break.

 The egg turn to water and started filling the dry    iyiosa river.

 Iyiosa river started flowing the way it supposed to flow.

The king and chinedu was very happy.

That moment,

 all the whole first daughters in the community regain themselves.

And joy was coming from everywhere.

Even for that midnight, the villagers where singing and praising God,

 that their sisters sickness has been cured.

The community shake that midnight.

The king and chinedu went back to the palace.

When they reach in the palace.

Princess ijeoma has regain her self, 

When the King saw her daughter, he was so happy, they hug themselves.

Princess ijeoma saw chinedu and said to her father, the King.

What is this person doing here.

The King said to ijeoma don't wary your self, tomorrow I will explain everything to you.

Queen ugodiya said to chinedu thank you for everything.

Chinedu said OK ma.

Princess ijeoma was surprise,

she said in her mind, why is my mother thanking chinedu, okey let me wait in the morning.

Early in the morning,

 some villagers started coming in the palace,

to tell the king that their daughters, their sisters  has been heald from their sickness.

When the villagers come in the palace they thank chinedu and the other volunteers that die in the process in making sure that this community is save.

After When the villagers went back to their various homes.

King nnamba (ii) call princess ijeoma and said to her, sit down.

Ijeoma sat down.

The king said, after some youths label ifunanyachukwu as a criminal and disgrace her publicly.

 ifunanyachukwu didn't withstand the shame, 

She decide to commit suicide.

Before ifunanyachukwu commit suicide she lay a curse to this community,

 she said, as I'm about to die now,

 so shall all the whole first daughter of this community die also.

After the disaster befallen UGWUELE community,

that led to your sickness and other first daughters of this community too.

We consulted a soothsayer and the soothsayer said that we should go to eboukwu evil forest, and bring back the secret egg to our community.

And you know that anybody that entered inside that eboukwu evil forest will not come back alive.

Later, I promise our youths that anybody that bring the secret egg back to our community.

 will marry my daughter which is you.

At of eight people that volunteers themselves to go inside the eboukwu evil forest,

 only one person survived, which is chinedu.

Princes ijeoma look at chinedu and said in her mind, my enemy later be my husband, is this not ironically.

The king said to ijeoma, go and meet your future husband.

Ijeoma go to where chinedu is and greet him.

Chinedu replyed back.

Ijeoma said to chinedu.

if you tell me that time we are having issues,

 that in future I will be your wife,

 I won't believe you.

Chinedu said, 

This moment we are now.

 is the reason why I don't greet you back then.

Because I was in my dream,

 they showed me that in future  you will be my wife.

I just decide not to bow down to greet you.

If i told you then,

 that in future you will be my wife, I'm sure that you will not believe me.

As I told you then that a great disaster will befall this community, 

that you should go and inform the king your father about what I told you.

But you said that I'm sick, that I should go and drink iyiosa river so that I will be cured.

Ijeoma said, oh I see.

I'm sorry for that.

 I have been asking my self, what is giving you the moral for challenging the royal family.

ok this is the reason.

Ijeoma thank chinedu for saving her life.

Ijeoma kiss chinedu in front of the king and the queen.

The next day the king summon the villagers.

He said to them, chinedu is now the husband  of my daughter princess ijeoma.

from now on he will always be the husband of my daughter and also the future king of this community UGWUELE after I pass away.

 according to our tradition.

The king engage chinedu and ijeoma in the public and he said to them.

 you are now husband and wife, you may kiss you bride.

Chinedu and princess ijeoma kiss themselves.

After the gathering the king said to chinedu.

 you will be living with us in this palace, because you are now part of us.

Chinedu and ijeoma live in the palace.

Chinedu's family later becomes rich because of princess ijeoma he married.

Five years later the king die and chinedu was crowned as the king of UGWUELE  autonomous community.

Two years later queen ugodiya die.

 King chinedu later help chukwuemeka's family.

 because, he love chukwuemeka so much, 

Up till date, he is still remembering him.

thats to tell you the level of love  he has for chukwuemeka.

King chinedu and queen, later have children and they live a happy life.
