Doctor: Mr Alfred...(Sighs)
Alfred: Doctor what's wrong with me?
Doctor: You've been diagnosed with low sperm count.
Alfred: What?! It's not possible
Doctor: Mr Alfred. You can check the report.
Alfred: All these time I thought the problem was with my wife.
Doctor: She's perfectly fine.
Alfred: Oh God! What's the solution doctor?
Doctor: You'll be put on medications. it's the only way.
Alfred: (Sighs)
Doctor: Just stick to the medications and in no time you'll have your own kids.
Alfred: Please doctor.. my wife mustn't know about this.
Doctor: But why Mr Alfred?
Alfred: We've been going through a lot lately and this news will hurt her more.
Doctor: It's okay Mr Alfred. She won't know.
Alfred: Thanks doctor ( shakes the doctor's hand and leaves the office).

(Alfred gets into his car. Bella; his beautiful wife is seated in the car with folded arms)
Alfred: Hey darling!
Bella: What did the doctor say?
Alfred: We're both fine. There's nothing wrong with us.
Bella: Then why aren't we having kids?
Alfred: I don't know. You need to stop worrying.
Bella: Don't tell me to stop worrying. It's been five years now.
Alfred: Our kids will come. Don't worry.
Bella: (Bursts into tears) I'm tired of waiting.
Alfred: Let's wait a little longer.(Drives out of the hospital).

(Bella sits at a corner of the bedroom putting a call through to the doctor)
Bella: (Speaks softly) Hello doctor
Doctor: Mrs Alfred
Bella: Hope my secret is safe with you.
Doctor: It definitely is but don't you think you should tell your husband about it.
Bella: No! That I don't have a womb? I just can't.
Doctor: I would suggest you go for adoption as soon as possible.
Bella: Really? Do you think he'll agree to it?
Doctor: Of course. It depends on how desperately the both of you need children.
Bella: I really want a child of my own. I'll talk to him about it.
Doctor: That would be great Mrs Alfred.
Bella: Good night doctor. (Hangs up)
Alfred: Darling, who were you on the phone with?
Bella: (Stammers in shock as her cellphone drops) well... it's...my mom.
Alfred: What does she want?
Bella: Nothing...she wants me to come see her tomorrow. (Picks up her cellphone).
Alfred: Let's sleep. it's almost morning.
Bella: (Lays beside Alfred on the bed in thoughts) Oh God! He can't find out that my womb is damaged. I worked so hard to keep this marriage. I admit I made a mistake in the past but I wouldn't want it to ruin my marriage.
Alfred: (Also in thoughts) My dear wife. How dismayed she would feel if she learns about my predicament. I can't take the risk of telling her. I hope the doctor is able to keep this secret.

(In the well furnished sitting room, Bella is seen watching a movie. There's a knock on the door)
Bella: Who's there?
( No response)
Bella: (Walks up to the door and opens it) I said who's... ( Sees Olivia; Alfred's kid sister)
Olivia:( wearing a long face) Am I welcomed?
Bella: Of course. come in. You didn't tell us you'd be visiting.
Olivia: I don't think I need your permission to come here. Besides I'd be staying for only two days.
Bella: It's not like you need my permission. You...
Olivia: (Cuts in) Save it! Barren woman! (Walks away to the guest room).
(Few minutes later... Bella Lays on the bed in her bedroom sobbing. She flashes back to her past)
Bella:(Knocks on the door)
Fredrick:(Opens) My love.
Bella:( Hugs Fredrick tightly) I have good news for you.
Fredrick: Really? Come in.
(In his one room apartment, they both sit on the matrass)
Bella: We're having a baby soon.
Fredrick: What do you mean?
Bella: ( Smiles) I'm pregnant!
Fredrick: What?! You're...?
Bella: What's wrong. You're supposed to be happy.
Fredrick: Happy you say? This is a very bad news.
Bella: (Countenance changes) Why?
Fredrick: We can't have a baby now. I'm not financially bouyant. I'm not capable of being a father.
Bella: I know you're not financially stable but we can manage. we'll bring this baby up with the little we have. I can even get a job.
Fredrick: You don't get it. I'm not ready to be a father.
Bella: ( Furiously) You're not ready to be a father and you keep having unprotected s*x with me.
Fredrick: ( Goes closer to her) Darling, you know I love you so much. we can't just have this baby right now.
Bella: So what do you want me to do?
Fredrick: I think you should get rid of it.
Bella: What?! Hell no!
Fredrick: But why?
Bella: This is the fifth child you're asking me to abort. I don't want to loose my life.
Fredrick: You won't. Just do this for me one last time. I promise it won't happen again.(Goes on his knees)
Bella: No Fredrick! (Walks out of the room)
Fredrick: Bella! Try to understand.
( Bella ignores him).

Bella: I'm tired of aborting my babies. I'm afraid I may loose my life someday. But on a second thought, I don't want to raise a child without a father. What do I do? (Sobs silently).

(Juliana; Bella's best friend comes to visit her. She meets Bella crying in her room)
Juliana: (Rushes to her) What's wrong? Why are you crying?
( Bella keeps crying)
Juliana: Talk to me. what happened?
Bella: It's...(staggers) Fredrick.
Juliana: Stop crying and tell me what happened.
Bella: I'm pregnant for him.
Juliana: Again?!
Bella: (crying increases)
Juliana: So did he accept it this time?
Bella: He didn't. He insists I get rid of the baby.
Juliana: What?! Not again. I won't let you do this.
Bella: But I love him so much.
Juliana: You love him so much that you are ready to sacrifice your life for him? This is the fifth time for crying out loud!
(Bella sobs)
Juliana: I hope you're not considering getting rid of this baby.
( Bella keeps mute)
Juliana: Don't tell me you're considering it. Bella! Do you want to kill yourself? Fredrick doesn't really love you..if he does, he would never have suggested that you abort this child.
Bella: But...(sniffs) We've been together for so long and I love him.
Juliana: Wake up from your slumber bestie. I understand that you love this guy but he doesn't love you. He's not worth laying down your life for.
Bella: I also want to keep this baby but it would ruin my relationship with Fredrick as he isn't in support of it.
Juliana: Oh goodness! I'm your best friend. I wouldn't lie to you.. he's using you.
Bella: Juliana! He isn't. He isn't ready to be a father now due to his financial status. He's just a high school teacher.
Juliana: I feel pity for you. You're going to make a costly mistake and I don't want that for you.
Bella: I need to be left alone.
Juliana: Are you asking me out of your house?
Bella: Please leave. I'll come see you later.
Juliana: Really? it's fine.. just don't ruin your life with your own hands.

Bella: You have to accompany me to the hospital tommorow.
Fredrick: Yes baby I will.
Bella: Remember I'm doing this because I love you so much.

Fredrick: Why don't we go to my apartment so you can get some rest.
Bella: (Groans in pain) Let's take a cab. I can't walk any further.

Bella: Fredrick! (Drops her handbag on the floor)
Fredrick: (Jerks up) Why are you here?
Bella: You're asking me why I'm here? Not even a little shame! So you've been cheating on me!
Fredrick: (Holds her hand and drags her out of the room). Why the hell do you like invading my privacy?

Bella: What has come over you?

Juliana: Your tears won't bring Fredrick back to you. He already called off the wedding.
Bella: (Hits herself) I've been a big fool. I should have listened to you.
Juliana: You don't have to hit yourself. We both know you were blinded by love.
Bella: Is it a crime to love someone so much?
Juliana: Not at all. You went wrong when you decided to keep aborting your babies for him.
Bella: My parents...they think I'd be married in two days time. They would disown me when they get to know the truth. I don't know what to do.
Juliana: Calm down. We'll find a way out of all these.

Christiana: Shut your mouth! If he finds out he might decide to call off the wedding. I can't let you do that.
Patrick (Bella's Dad): You heard your Mom. Don't be stupid!
Bella: He would still find out someday.

Bella: (Looks away) I think it's high time we go for adoption.
Alfred: Adoption? (Sits on the couch)

Juliana: So did Alfred agree to the idea of adopting?
Bella: (Sighs) He didn't.

Bella: He said he doesn't want an adopted child.

Fredrick: After we met at the supermarket, my love for you began to grow again (Fix's his eyes on her waist and hips).

Unknown number: Bella!! Your secret is in my hands and I don't think I can keep it anymore. I'd like to share it with someone.
(The voice sounds familiar to Bella... it's Fredrick's).
Bella: Fredrick!! Please leave me the hell alone!!
Fredrick: I will darling but not until I let out your secret to your beloved husband.
Bella: Why are you bent on destroying my life? I beg of you... leave me alone. You've done enough harm already.
Fredrick: I don't care if your life gets ruined.

Juliana: Calm down! We'll just involve the corps.
Bella: No! I don't think it's a wise idea.
Juliana: Why?
Bella: Involving the corps would be acting smart on him and he warned me not to.
Juliana: So what do we do?
Bella: Let's find a way to give him the money.
Juliana: Have you gone nuts?! Where do we get five million in just three days?

Christiana: But you brought all these upon yourself.
Bella: If Alfred finds out he'll file for a divorce.
Christiana: We can't let that happen! That guy has to be dealt with.
Bella: No mom! It's not the best idea.
Christiana: What do you want to do?
Bella: I'll give him the damn five million. I know it's gonna be hard but I'll try.
Christiana: What if he goes ahead and tells Alfred everything after giving him the money.
Bella: The money would definitely keep him shut for good.
Christiana: Sure?

(Bella's cellphone rings)
Bella: it's him! He's calling.
Juliana: Pick up! will you?.

Fredrick: I hope you have the money.

Alfred: Well the doctor called. He wants to speak with both of us at the hospital.
Bella: (Whispers) This means he hasn't found out but how?
Alfred: Did you say something?
Bella: No... I'll just get dressed so we can leave for the hospital.
Alfred: You wanted to talk last night...
Bella: Well... it's nothing. Nothing serious. (Heads to the washroom).
(Bella puts a call through to Juliana)
Bella: (Speaks softly) Hey girl... I was expecting him to be furious this morning but he's not.
Juliana: Told you to relax. I already paid that fool off.
Bella: (Smiles) You did? How?
Juliana: I was able to arrange for the remaining money. Thank goodness you left the three million with me. I located the address and paid him off.
Bella: How were you able to arrange for the money?
Juliana: You ask way too much questions. So you haven't told Alfred about it?
Bella: No! I tried talking to him last night but he was tired and dozed off.
Juliana: There's nothing to worry about. I'm sure that Fredrick guy won't bother you again.

Bella: That was rude but I would overlook it. What is this lunatic doing here?
Juliana: I owe you no explanation!
Bella: What's wrong with you? (Pulls her to a corner)
Juliana: Get your hands off me!
Bella: We had both agreed that you weren't going to tell Alfred anything. He was suppose to know the truth from me! Why did you tell him?
Juliana: I thought of doing you the favour..
Bella: I don't understand you anymore!
Juliana: I will just cut the pretence! The truth is I've been in cahoot with Fredrick all along.
Bella: What?! You must be joking
Juliana: I'm not sweetie! About the five million... It was all my plan but you foiled it by not being able to get the whole money.
Bella: Are you actually being serious?!
Juliana: Of course!
Bella: But why?!
Juliana: You're married despite having a damaged womb... I'm way older than you but yet I have no husband.

Bella: Really? (wipes her eyes)
Christiana: Yes!
Bella: Does he look upset. He's probably here to yell at me.
Christiana: No! He really wants to speak with you. He's waiting for you downstairs.
Bella: (Smiles) I want to speak with him too and apologize for everything.
Christiana: Then go! Go and fix your marriage baby.
(Bella rushes to the living room. She embraces Alfred)
Bella: I'm sorry... please forgive me
Alfred: (looks at her eyes) You've been crying?
Bella: I... I've hurt you...
Alfred: Shh... Why did you leave the house?
Bella: You were gonna throw me out weren't you?
Alfred: No!! I know you hurt me by not telling me about your past but i didn't think of throwing you out of the house.
Bella: Are you serious?
Alfred: Yes! Besides, you're not the only guilty one here. I also am!
Bella: How?
Alfred: I've also hidden something from you..
Bella: What's it?
Alfred: Months ago, I was diagnosed of low sperm count and I told the doctor not to let you know about it.
Bella: What?! Why?
Alfred: You were already stressed about our childlessness I thought hence the reason I told him not to tell you.
Bella: You should have told me...
Alfred: I'm sorry! Please come back home.
Bella: You're willing to take me back despite knowing that I have a damaged womb?!

Bella: You can ask the corps when you get to the police station.
Corp 2: You're wasting our time ma'am. please move!
Juliana She lied to you. I haven't done anything wrong!
Bella: Please take her away.
Juliana: No! I don't wanna go to jail!
Bella: You'll rot there! I'll make sure of that! Not just you... Fredrick as well.
(Juliana is forced out by the corps and taken away).
