When he reached his work site, two hungry children approached him, explaining their mother was away, and they needed food. With only one thousand naira in his pocket, Chimaobi split it and gave them five hundred naira each, telling them to use it wisely.

As Chimaobi began his carpentry work, a beggar came to him, sharing his hardships since losing his leg in an accident. Touched by the beggar's story, Chimaobi selflessly gave him the remaining five hundred naira meant for his own meal.

Despite going without food that day, Chimaobi continued his work diligently. Little did he know, a goddess from the Mediterranean Sea, curious about human life, had been watching him. Taking on various forms, including that of a beggar and a madwoman, she tested Chimaobi's kindness.

Impressed by Chimaobi's caring nature, the goddess, disguised as a madwoman, approached him one day and asked for help. Without hesitation, Chimaobi offered assistance, earning her admiration.

Further tests came. When a hungry, mentally unstable boy took his food, instead of getting angry, Chimaobi showed kindness, earning the boy's gratitude and the goddess's approval.

One day, a guy named Matthew said that he would kill Chimaobi because he couldn't stand seeing him with all that money.

Matthew decided to hire high killers to assassinate Chimaobi.

But if you asked Matthew why he wanted to kill Chimaobi, he would say nothing, just that he was jealous and envious.

Matthew met with the high killers and said to them, "I want you guys to kill someone for me, how much?"

The leader of the killers asked Matthew who the target was.

Matthew said it was Chimaobi.

Even the kidnappers knew Chimaobi as a good guy.

Matthew thought it was too much, but they insisted.

Matthew agreed to pay and promised to give them half upfront and the rest after the job was done.

He then instructed the high killers to wait for his call. He would lure Chimaobi to their location, and they would take care of the rest.

"Hello," Matthew said.

"Hi, who's this?" Chimaobi asked.

"I saw your number at one of the places you roofed," Matthew replied.

"Okay," Chimaobi said.

"I want you to do some work for me. I'm building in my area, and I need you to come and roof it for me," Matthew said.

Chimaobi asked for the location, and Matthew provided it.

Chimaobi agreed to come the next morning, and they ended the call.

The next morning, Chimaobi prepared and set out to meet Matthew.

The robbers knocked and shouted, 'Who's here? Come out now, or I'll use my gun to break this door!'

Chimaobi was the first to hear what the robbers said. He woke up Jennifer and said, 'There are robbers in our compound. What should we do?'

Jennifer asked, 'Are you sure?'

Chimaobi replied, 'Yes, I'm sure. What should we do now?'

Jennifer said, 'I'm not sure.'

Chimaobi asked Jennifer to stay inside the room while he went to check if he could do anything.

Jennifer said, 'Okay, but please don't let them hurt you.'

Chimaobi reassured her, 'Okay, I'll try not to get hurt.'

He opened the door and cautiously descended the stairs, observing the surroundings.

Meanwhile, Jennifer thought to herself, 'I need to stop those robbers. Who gave them the power to enter our compound? Do they know who I am? I am the goddess of the Mediterranean Sea. I have to do something.'

With that, Jennifer transformed into a large python and disappeared.

The robbers threatened, 'If no one shows up before we count to ten, we'll break down this door and enter!'

They continued talking, unaware of Jennifer's plan.""The arm robbers were there, counting their numbers.

A python appeared.

One of them saw the snake, shouted, and said, 'Look, a big python!'

They all turned back.

The python rushed at one of them, entangled the person, and killed him.

They all started shooting at the snake.

Chimaobi saw the same big snake that had come to his rescue before.

Chimaobi rushed inside his room to call Jennifer to come and see the big python he was talking about.

When Chimaobi reached there, he didn't see Jennifer. He called for her, but no one answered. Chimaobi searched the whole house but didn't find Jennifer. He became afraid and said, 'Where is Jennifer? Have the arm robbers kidnapped her or what? Or is she the snake? Because the same snake that came to my rescue the other day is also fighting the arm robbers that came to our house tonight.'

'What is happening?' Chimaobi asked.

Chimaobi said, 'Let me go and watch the fight between the snake and the arm robbers first.'

Chimaobi went out to watch the fight.

All the bullets the arm robbers shot at the python didn't penetrate its body.

The python started killing the arm robbers.

Anyone the python bit would die, and their body would disappear immediately.

The python rushed at another person and bit them. Immediately, the person disappeared.

Even Chimaobi, from where he was hiding, was surprised by how the dead arm robbers were disappearing.

The python used its tail to hit an arm robber who was shooting at it. The arm robber fell, the python bit them, and they died and disappeared.

The python used this method to kill them.

Two arm robbers started running to escape, but the snake intercepted them, entangled both of them, spat on them, and then killed them.

Chimaobi was somewhere watching and said, 'Is this a movie or real? Because I'm surprised and confused right now.'

When the python finished killing the arm robbers, it disappeared.

Chimaobi came out to check if the python had truly disappeared.

He looked around but didn't see anything.

Chimaobi decided to go inside to check if he could find his wife, Jennifer.

When he entered, Jennifer was there, sweating.

Chimaobi asked Jennifer, 'Where have you been? I've been searching for you in almost every room, but I couldn't find you. What happened?'

Jennifer said, 'I was afraid, so I decided to hide inside the cupboard in the room downstairs. I didn't want to be hurt.'

Chimaobi said, 'Thank God you are safe.'

Chimaobi continued, 'If you saw what happened last night, you would be shocked. The same python that came to my rescue when the hired killers wanted to kill me is the same python that came again to our compound to kill the arm robbers. Jennifer, if you saw how the python killed the arm robbers, you would be surprised.'

'But who is sending this python to come and save us, especially me?' Chimaobi asked. 'Jennifer, are you the python or what?'

Jennifer said, 'No, I'm not the python.'

Chimaobi said, 'Is it your relatives or what?'

Jennifer said, 'No, it's not.'

Chimaobi said, 'Okay, no problem. As long as the python is not harming us but saving us, I'm thankful to the person sending it to come and save my family. I'm grateful to that person.'

Jennifer said, 'Even I am grateful to the person for saving you and me.'

Chimaobi and Jennifer continued sleeping.

The following day..."

The following day, Chimaobi couldn't shake off the events of the previous night. Over breakfast, he and Jennifer discussed the mysterious appearance of the python once again.

Chimaobi pondered, "Who could be behind this? And why us?"

Jennifer added, "It's perplexing, but we should be grateful for the protection."

As they contemplated the strange occurrences, a knock on the door interrupted their thoughts. It was their neighbor, Mr. Adegoke, looking visibly shaken.

"Chimaobi, Jennifer, you won't believe what happened last night," Mr. Adegoke exclaimed.

Intrigued, Chimaobi invited him in to share his story.

Mr. Adegoke revealed that his house had also been targeted by armed robbers, but something extraordinary had happened. A majestic python had appeared out of nowhere and thwarted the robbery attempt, just like at Chimaobi's house.

"This can't be a coincidence," Chimaobi muttered.

The trio exchanged theories and speculated about the identity of the mysterious benefactor sending the python to protect them. Was it a guardian angel? A powerful ally? Or something beyond their comprehension?

One day, Jennifer was sleeping in the room, unaware that she had transformed into a snake.

Jennifer transformed into a big python and was sleeping on their bed.

Chimaobi was outside the building when his mind told him to go inside their room. He started heading towards the room.

When Chimaobi reached there, he saw a big python curled up on their bed. He shouted and started calling for Jennifer to come and see the snake he found inside their room.

As soon as Jennifer, who had transformed into the snake, heard the voice, she woke up and found herself as a snake. She transformed back into human being.

As soon as Chimaobi saw this, he fainted."When Chimaobi fell to the ground,

Jennifer said, "What have I done?"

She rushed to Chimaobi and carried him to their bed.

She used a fan to cool Chimaobi until he woke up.

When Chimaobi woke up, he didn't know what to say anything.

Jennifer said to Chimaobi, "I want to tell you something. Don't be afraid.

"I'm a goddess from the Mediterranean Sea. I saw your kindness, how you are helping others, and it caught my attention. I decided to come into your life. Chimaobi, don't be afraid. I will not think of hurting you. I love you so much. All the pythons you have been seeing, it was me. I always transform that way to help my loved ones, and I have vowed to always guide and help you in every aspect."

Chimaobi thought to himself, "The sea god fell in love with me. No wonder everything changed since Jennifer met me. I started getting contracts and making connections here and there. Okay, Jennifer is behind my success. There's no need to be afraid of her. She came for good, not bad. I'm even beginning to love her more. I'm a special person for this to happen by my side."

Chimaobi said to Jennifer, "It's alright. I have understood what you said, but am I dreaming or what? Can this be possible? I was not aware that such a thing could happen in this world— a sea goddess falling in love with a human being."

Chimaobi said to Jennifer, "Okay, all this time I've been sleeping with the goddess of the sea."

Jennifer replied, "Yes, but don't be afraid. I am now your worldly guardian angel."

Chimaobi thought to himself, "What am I going to do now? Will Jennifer continue being my wife, or should I ask her to leave me alone? I'm very confused now, to be honest with you."

Chimaobi said to himself, "I will continue marrying Jennifer. Whatever happens, let it happen. I don't care, even if it leads to my death. Let me die, I don't care. As long as she has not harmed me, instead she will be the one to save me. I don't want to disappoint her."

Chimaobi said to Jennifer, "No matter what, I will not leave. I love you even more now. Thank you for helping me in so many ways. Without you, I don't know how my life would be by this time. Thank you for your help."

Jennifer said, "Always help others. Always be good to others because you never know who is watching you. Everything you do in this world has a reward at the end, so always do good to others."

Chimaobi kissed Jennifer and said, "Nothing can separate us in this world. I don't care if you are a snake or not. I prefer dying in your arms than to die in someone else's."

Jennifer kissed Chimaobi and said, "Nothing will happen to you."

Chimaobi and Jennifer made love that night.
