"Mike! I'm talking to you!" Maria yelled pulling him back.
"Let me be woman!"
"I won't! Why have you brought another woman into our home?!"
"She's not another woman! She's my wife". Mike yelled back.
"Your wife?! But... I'm your lawfully wedded wife".
"No! You're a mistake! You lured me into marrying you with your dark magic".
"What nonsense are you saying?!" Maria cried out.
"It's the truth!".
"Stop all these drama Mike. You have to send her away".
"I don't think we're compatible as a couple anymore".
"What?! I'm carrying your baby for crying out loud!"
"I'm not even sure that thing in your womb is mine".
"Stop all these... Dora is watching!"
"I'd say whatever I want to! She's just two".
"Mike!"
"Stop yelling my name! Now do yourself a favor and leave this house in peace".
"After four years of marriage you're doing this to me?" Maria said in tears.
"Oh stop this! You irritate me a lot!" Mike moved away from her feeling disgusted.
FEW MINUTES LATER...
"Since you've refused to leave, I'll help you leave" Mike threw out Maria's luggages.
"Mike! No!" Struggling to get her luggages back in.
"You have to leave. I don't need you anymore!" He dragged her out.
"Please Mike! You can't do this.. what have I done wrong? Tell me and I'll apologise" The heavily pregnant Maria said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"You have done everything wrong! I don't need you anymore!"
"Dora! Come here baby!" Maria called out to her crying daughter from outside.
"You aren't leaving with her! She'll stay here!"
"I don't know what has gotten into you! You're throwing me out of our home in this condition?!"
"It seems you didn't hear me earlier... I said I don't need you anymore!"
Maria turned to 'the other woman' who stood at the door laughing.
"What have you done to my husband? Witch!"
"Shut your mouth and leave" Mike pushed Maria to the ground.
"Let me have my daughter! I won't leave without her".
"Get out of here woman! She's my daughter too and I say she's not going with you!"
"No Mike! You can't do this! Give me my child. She wants to be with her Mom".
"Get lost Maria!" Mike shut the door taking in the crying Dora.
"Mike! Open up!" Maria banged on the door shouting.
Maria left after hours of pleading at the door step.
She returned severally to take Dora with her but Mike didn't let her...Being an orphan, she was left with nothing wandering on the streets not until a lady named Linda decided to take her in. They both moved out of the city after Maria put to bed.

20 YEARS LATER...
"Mom! Hurry up! I'll be late for college" Kira said.
"Hold on dear... I'll be there in a minute". Maria said in the kitchen.
Shortly, She came to the dinning with pancakes for breakfast.
"You took so long in the kitchen Mom" Kira said grabbing a pancake.
"I'm sorry dear" Maria said having a seat at the dinning table. She stared at Kira sadly.
"Mom! What's wrong?" Kira asked.
"You're going to study in another city and you'll be traveling alone.."
"Mom.. Why do you worry too much? I'll be fine. I'm not a kid anymore".
"Promise me you'll keep being a good girl".
"Of course Mom! Promise!"
"Momma already misses her baby" Maria said embracing Kira.
"I'm running late... Don't worry about me Mom. I'll be just fine".
"Take care of yourself" Maria said as Kira picks up her handbag.
Kira looked out the window and saw a car packed outside.
"Mr Williams is here. Good bye Mom. Tell Auntie Linda I'll miss her" Kira said hurrying out.
"Bye sweetie..."
"If only she knows her father and sister are in that city" Maria said gently after Kira left.

Kira arrived at her new college. She stood at the entrance for minutes admiring it's beauty.
"Wow! What a view!" Kira exclaimed.
It was the most talked about college..She was so glad to be a student of such a big school.
As she rushed to get registered, she accidentally bumps into a girl... Her classy looks and impeccable attitude made Kira a little scared.
"I'm so sorry! Actually I'm new here and..."
"No one really cares if you're a new student or not! A little advice for you... try using those eyes of yours so you don't end up bumping into people everyday".
"But I already apologized. You don't have to be rude" Kira replied.
"You stepped on my expensive shoes. If only you knew how much they worth. Seeing you're dressed in rags... I wouldn't blame you".
"Now you're being insulting!" Kira said in fury.
"You must be here on a scholarship cause middle class people like you can't afford such luxury". Dora said pointing at the college.
"I might be here on a scholarship but you're certainly no match for my intelligence". Kira confidently said.
"I've got better things to do and I hope we never cross paths again".The classy girl said walking away.
"How rude?! Thank goodness we aren't related!" Kira headed to the provost's office.
Dora; the hottest girl in college, most guys in college wanted her not just because of her beauty and classiness but also because she was the daughter of the richest business tycoon in the city. She was disliked by the girls in college for her nonchalance.
Dora and Kira; two long lost sisters who don't realize they're related. Their enmity had just started...

Emily; Kira's roommate walked in on 'the bookworm' studying in the room.
"Kira! Guess what I just found out?"
"I'm studying Emily!"
"You might want to keep that book aside to hear what I'm about to tell you".
Kira paused..."Spill it!"
"Well, there's gonna be a big house warming party somewhere in the city".
"So?"
"Waiters and waitresses are needed to serve at the party".
"But we aren't waitresses"
"We can do the job. Remember we're in need of cash"
"But...
"You don't have to worry about anything. I already spoke with the event planner".
"You did? But we haven't done this job before" Kira said in surprise.
"How hard could it be? What's important is getting the money".
"I'll just tell Mom about it" Kira picked up her cellphone.
"No! She wouldn't agree to it". Emily said stopping her.
"That's true and I wouldn't wanna bother her with my school expenses".
"We both know we're from middle class families..doing little jobs to support ourselves isn't a bad idea".
"You're right. Just find out the date for the event". Kira said returning to her study.
"I knew you wouldn't refuse" Emily said leaving the room.
<<<THREE DAYS LATER...AT THE HOUSE WARMING PARTY>>
Kira and Emily arrived in their uniforms.
"This place is beautiful" Kira said as her eyes ran through the arena.
"Yes! We're definitely getting a good pay for this job". Emily said excitingly.
"I sure hope so"
A beautiful lady waved at them from inside the house..it was the event planner. They quickly went to her to get assigned to their job.

With a tray containing glasses of wine, Kira moved gently towards the guests.
"I'll be there" A man spoke on the phone.. heading to the balcony. He bumped into Kira and the wine got spilled on his suit.
Kira gasped "I'm really sorry sir. I didn't see you coming".
"I bumped into you so why are you apologizing? Mike said.
"But your suit is ruined and it's all my fault". The fear of getting fired struck Kira.
"I should be the one apologizing". Mike said staring at her mysteriously.
"Your suit" Kira brought out a handkerchief from her pocket.
"Don't worry I'll clean it up" Mike said smiling at her.
"I'm truly sorry sir." Kira kept pleading.
"You look so much like my daughter. Anyone could say you both are sisters due to the striking resemblance". Mike said.
"Really?"
"Of course".
"Dad!" A girl called out. It was Dora.
"There she is.. looking so elegant" Mike said as Dora walked up to them.
"You?! What are you doing here?!" Dora asked in a harsh tone.
"Oh goodness! Not her again!" Kira whispered.
"She's here to work darling. Don't be rude! By the way, do you both know each other?"
"Yes! She's a girl from college but she's quite irrelevant at the moment. The guests are waiting for you.. let's go". Kira said holding Mike's hand.
"I have to clean this up in a jiffy" Mike pointed at his stained suit.
"Did she do this to you?"
"No! I ran into her. Why don't you keep their company?.. I'll join you soon". Mike headed for a washroom.
Dora kept staring at Kira who tried picking up the broken glasses.
"Disgusting!" She uttered leaving Kira whose only focus was on getting the glasses out of the floor.

STILL AT THE HOUSE WARMING PARTY...
Kira's presence at the party got Dora furious and uncomfortable.
"I don't know why her presence here disturbs me". Dora spoke with her friend as they stared at Kira doing her job.
"Isn't she one of the newbies at college?" Rhea asked.
"Yes..She spoke to me with so much guts the other day at school".
"She's no match for you... I mean you're way better than her".
"Yes! I think I need to show her the stuff I'm made of".
"What are you gonna do?"
"It's simple! Frame her!" Dora gave Rhea an evil smile.
"How?"
"Come with me" Dora held Rhea's hand taking her to a corner of the house.

The party was about getting concluded when Dora was heard crying.
"My diamond necklace!"
"What's wrong darling?"Brenda; Dora's step Mom rushed to her.
"I can't find my diamond necklace. it...it was right here on my neck".
"Maybe you misplaced it".
"No Mom! Someone must have stolen it!"
"A thief in the party? It can't be! I'll speak to your father right away".
Brenda went in search of Mike..she told him about the situation as soon as she found him.
"It must be somewhere around dear. It probably fell off without you noticing". Mike comforted her.
"No! Someone has stolen my gold necklace"
"You can't be so sure sweetheart" Brenda said.
"I demand that everyone in this party be searched thoroughly!" Dora shouted.
"What?!" Her parents exclaimed.
"Find my necklace!"
The search for Dora's gold necklace began. It was embarrassing but Dora's wish had to be fulfilled. All the guests and workers were searched except Kira.
"Let me do the searching" Dora stopped Brenda.
She dipped her hand into Kira's apron pocket and brought out the necklace.
"My diamond necklace! She stole it!" She pointed at Kira.
"How did that get into my pocket?! I didn't steal it!" The confused Kira said innocently.
"We all know thieves are fond of lying..Are you trying to say this necklace appeared in you pocket?!"
Brenda walked up to Kira and slapped her.
"How dare you? You have disguised as a waitress just to steal from my daughter!"
"Ma'am! I didn't do it! it's totally against my morals" Kira cried.
"I'm calling the corps"
"No Dora! Let's hear her out" Mike said.
"Mike! She has nothing to say! She's a thief!" Brenda shouted.
Emily stood at a corner gripped in fear.
She couldn't stand the accusations laid against Kira.
"She's not a thief! We grew up together and I know her too well".
"You must be her acquaintance...when the corps get here? I'll make sure you're arrested too!" Dora shouted.
"I swear I'm innocent..I only came here to work" Kira pleaded.
FEW MINUTES LATER...
The corps arrived and Kira was arrested. Emily tried proving Kira's innocence but Dora and Brenda didn't listen.
At the police station>
Emily dialed Maria's cellphone number.
"Auntie... Auntie! Bella has been arrested!"

"I was humiliated for something I didn't do!".
"I feel bad as well. I'm very sure that Dora girl was behind this".
On the other hand, Mike was restless after Kira's arrest. He quickly went to the police station to help her.
"Inspector!"
"What can I do for you sir?"
"I'm here to see Kira. The girl that was just brought in".
"Who are you to her?"
"Well..."
"You're?"
"I'm her father"
"Inspector Jude! Take him to her"
"Hey dear... I'm so sorry for all that happened" Mike said to the crying Kira at the cell.
"Please sir! I didn't do it!"
"I know! Don't worry... I'll get you out of here in no time". Mike walks away to meet the inspector in charge of Kira's case.
"He's helping you out of this instead of reprimanding you?! People like him are rare". Emily said as she watched Mike talk to the inspector.
"I wish I have a father like him" Kira wiped her tears.
Mike invited a lawyer to grant Kira's bail and in few minutes she was out of jail.
"Thank you so much sir".
"You're like a daughter to me so don't thank me".
"We're really grateful sir" Emily thanked him.
"You both wait here, I'll be right back" Mike went to sign a few papers.

Just then, Maria arrived at the police station. The girls were standing at the entrance.
"Kira! Emily! What happened? How did you end up here?" Maria asked anxiously.
"Mom! Calm down. Everything's fine now".
"Tell me what happened!"
"Well... I'll tell you about it later. I would like you to meet the man who helped me out of jail"
"Where's he?"
"He just went in to sign a few papers.
He'll soon be here"
Maria's cellphone rang...
"Linda's calling. She's very worried.. I'll tell her everything is fine" Maria moved out.
"Girls! Please do me the honor of taking you home" Mike came out shortly after Maria went to take her call.
"Don't worry sir. My mom's here.. we'll leave with her".
"Really? I'd like to meet her"
"She's over there. Though she's on the phone" Kira pointed in the direction.
"I guess we'll meet some other time. My regards to her". Mike got into his car and drove off as the girls waved at him smiling.
Maria returned...
"So? Where's the man? I'd like to thank him"
"Oh Mom! He already left"
"He must be really nice".
"Yes! He really is!"
"Let's leave here...I still want to know why you got arrested".
They left the police station to a tea shop where Kira narrated the incident to Maria. It didn't go down without some scolding.

The next day at college... Kira walked in with Emily.
As they went through, students began to murmur and point fingers at them.
"What's up with these people?" Kira asked.
"Forget about them. Let's go"
Suddenly, Dora walked to them stopping them from going in.
"How did you get out of jail?!"
They both ignored her and attempted to forge ahead.
"You can't walk out on me" Dora holds Kira back.
"Let go of me Dora!"
"What would you do if I don't?! Silly pauper".
The students around bursted into laughter.
"Go in! I'll join you soon" Kira told Emily.
Emily walked in giving Dora a bombastic look.
"Let go Dora!" Kira forced her hand off her grip and the __Dora pushed her.
Everyone was expecting a fall...they all brought out their cellphones to take recordings but to their utmost surprise, Henry; the hottest guy in college came to her aid. He hurridly grabbed her waist and hand.
There was a romantic staredown between Kira and the handsome Henry leaving the students gasping.
Dora couldn't believe her eyes.. Henry was a guy she had always wanted but has never looked at her. He also hailed from a wealthy family being the son of a mayor in the city. Dora boiled in anger as she couldn't bare to watch the scenero. She groaned and walked away.
Realizing that they were being recorded, Kira and Henry stood apart.
"Thanks" Kira put her hair behind her ear shyly.
"No worries. I'm Henry". He reached out for a handshake.
The overwhelmed Kira shook his hand as goosebumps poured down on her.
"I'll see you around"
"Yes! sure!"
Henry headed to his department giving Kira a charming smile.

"Oh my God! That was amazing!"
"Stop it Emily! He only helped me"
"You needed to see the look on Dora's face...she was furious" Emily laughed out out.
"Whenever I look at her, I feel we're connected in some way. She's just a little rude and bossy but I think she's not a bad person".

"It's just that...I don't know what it is but I feel attached to her".
"But she doesn't feel the same about you so let it go".

The fury didn't leave Dora. She spoke with Rhea on the phone.
"Of all the guys she chose to charm Henry!"
"Calm down! He can't be into such low class girl".
"Yes....yes! You're right. He just helped her" Dora spoke like a psychopath.
"You have nothing to worry about. There can never be a chemistry between them".
"I don't know why my hatred for her grows worse each time I set my eyes on her. All I can think of is making life unbearable for her!"

Kira stood outside the hostel searching for a cab. She was already late for college and there were no cabs on the road.
"Where did all the cabs go?" Kira said in frustration.
A white sparkly car moved pass her on the lonely road. The car rewind...fortunately, it was Mike's.
"Hey dear" Mike looks out of the car.
"Good day sir!"
"We meet again" Mike smiled... his white set of teeth shining through.
"Yes! Again!" Kira faked a smile staring at her wristwatch immensely.
"You must be heading somewhere".
"I'm tryna reach college in time for my classes but I can't find any cabs around".
"Why not hop in?.. Let me give you a ride".
"Aren't you heading to work?"
"Of course I am but I can still give you a ride. Remember you're running late".
"Thanks alot" Kira immediately went in.
ON THE WAY...
"My daughter's birthday is in two days and I'll be throwing a party to celebrate my princess".
"Wow! That's nice".
"I'd like you to be there".
"Me? Well... waitering is not really my job".
"Not as a waitress but as a guest"
"A guest? I'm honored sir".
"So you'll be there?"

"I don't have a father sir. My mom told me he died before I was born".

Maria walked out of the high school she tutored at waiting to stop a tricycle. Suddenly, a car drove recklessly towards her almost knocking her out of the road.
"Reckless driver! Try getting your eyes on the road!" Maria shouted.
The car stopped and a lady got out~-Brenda
"What nonsense?!" Maria tried taking out the dusts on her outfit.
"What did you say?!" Brenda walked up to her. Maria lifted her head and was amused at home she saw.
"You?!"
"Maria darling! It's so good to see you again".
"I wouldn't say the same"..
"Whatever! You're still as gullible as you were twenty years ago".
"You were driving recklessly! I'm not at fault here!"
Brenda laughed aloud.
"How's Dora doing?"
"She's doing better without you!"
"My girl must have grown so well... it's been twenty years since I set eyes on her".
"She doesn't need you. You're dead to her"
"Brenda! What have you told her about me?!"
"Nothing! She hates you and there's nothing you can do about it".
"Just give me the address to your residence. I want to see my daughter".
"Really?... You're never meeting her again!"
"Please! I'll do whatever you say.. just let me meet with her".
"No! No!" Brenda went into her car and drove off as Maria pleaded with her.
"I need to see my daughter. I have to see her! She must know the truth!" Maria soliloquizes in tears.

In a depressed state, Maria spoke to Linda about the incident with Brenda.
"She has turned my daughter against me".
"She might have won twenty years ago but she wouldn't win this time".
"You don't get it! My own child hates me now. Goodness knows what Brenda told her".
"You believed her lies? She must have lied to you".
"I know what she's capable of...She snatched my husband and daughter from me and I know she'll do anything to keep them"
"Don't worry! Good will always prevail over evil!"
"I just want my daughter back".
Maria made up her mind to go back to the the city she left in pain twenty years ago... this time in search for Dora.
She went to the apartment they lived as of then. She knew she mightn't find them there, but she gave it a try. On reaching the house, it was locked up and not a single person was found there.
This made her worried as she had no clue where they had moved to.
Walking through the dusty atmosphere covering her nose with a scarf, she thought of her next step. Just then a girl ran up to her in panick...it was Dora. Maria failed to recognize her due to so many years of being apart.
"Auntie! Please help me. These people wanna beat me up!"
Maria took her scarf off..."Who are they?"
"Them!" Dora pointed at a group of people surrounding a car.
"But why?" Maria thought of helping her.
"I accidentally drove into a man's goods by the road side and now they're all threatening to beat me up. They won't let me go".
"Actually I can't..."
"Please ma'am! help me out. I'll be late for my birthday party".
Maria looked into her eyes and a motherly feeling engulfed her. She immediately held Dora's hand and they went to the spot.
"Stop! You have to let her go!" She shouted and the pandemonium seized.
"Who are you to stop us?" The victim asked.
"I'm her mother!" Maria held on to the frightened Dora.
"Your daughter hit my goods and wasn't sorry about it".
"Not at all! I requested to pay for his filthy goods but he refused"
"Please let her go! She's urgently needs to be somewhere".
"You have to pay for my damaged goods ma'am!"
"But I offered to pay you for the goods earlier". Dora shouted.
"Keep your filthy money! Rude girl!"
"How much is it?" Maria asked.
"Ten thousand!"
Maria deeps her hand into her bag. She had only twelve thousand in it. She paid the victim without giving it a second thought and the issue was resolved.
"Thank you so much!" Dora embraced her.
"You don't have to thank me. Try being less rude to people...Now go!"
"I'm really lucky to have met you. Can you come with me to my birthday party? I'd like you to meet with my Dad".
"No..."
"Please auntie! He'll repay you"
"I didn't help you to get paid in return. I'll leave now". Maria attempt to continue her journey but was held back by Dora.
"Please! I'd like to celebrate my birthday with you. You acted as my mother just to get me out of that mess"
"It's nothing"
"Don't say NO please".
Watching Dora plead with her was unbearable. As much as she had to continue her search, turning Dora down didn't feel right...She accepted to go with her.

Kira couldn't find the perfect outfit to wear to the party.
"I'm running late and I still haven't found an outfit".
"You're trying to look your best. Will Henry be at the party?"
"This is not the right time to tease me Emily!"
"I've got just the perfect dress for you" Emily brought out a red dress from her bag.
"Wow! This is beautiful! I owe you one"
"Don't forget to get me the birthday goodies. I'll be waiting!"
"I sure will!" Kira wore the dress and it suited her as though it was designed specifically for her.

AT DORA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY...
Mother and daughter arrived at the thrilling party...
"Have fun auntie! I'll go get my dad. He really has to meet with you".
"You don't have to..." Maria tried stopping her but the excited Dora already walked away.
At that instance, Kira arrived at the party and the sisters collided at the exit.
"What're you doing here?!"
"Happy birthday Dora".
"Answer my question nitwit!"
"It's your birthday! You don't have to be this furious"
"Were you invited? If you weren't kindly leave at once!"
"Your father invited me"
"Dad? I don't believe you".
Kira waved the invitation card at her face... Henry who was also present at the party approached them.
"Henry!" Dora exclaimed excitedly
"Happy birthday Dora! Kira you're looking beautiful". He stared at her lovingly.
"Umm...well.. thanks"
"Dance with me...would you?"
"Sure" Henry took her hand as they moved to the dance floor. Dora gnashed her teeth in rage.
"I'll destroy her! I'll ruin her!"
MEANWHILE...
Brenda went around welcoming the guests. As her eyes looked through the arena, they sighted Maria naively sitting at a corner having a drink.
"Are my eyes deceiving me? This is Maria but how did she find this place?!" Brenda looked closely.
She became restless... Maria's presence at the party was a threat to her. The fear of loosing everything gripped her. The covetous lady became afraid of defeat...
"I must do something as fast as possible to get her out of here. I can't loose to her".
Brenda took out her cellphone and hastened out of the party.

Maria waited for Dora to return with her father but she didn't. Searching the party with her nervously she couldn't find Dora.
Then it occurred to her that she was in that city for an important mission not knowing she was at her destination.
"I've to leave! it's almost dusk" She headed to the exit. It was too late as Brenda had already devised a plan to take her out.
An able bodied man slugged up to her pretending to be drunk. He leaned unto her and they both fell into a dark room. immediately the door was shut... thinking he was really drunk, Maria dusted herself up and attempted to leave but the man pulled her back, covering her nose with a white handkerchief.
"Sleep tight Maria!" Brenda's voice came from a corner of the dark room.
Her head ached, her vision became blurry and she passed out.
AN HOUR LATER...
Maria woke up to the moaning of people... it was the next day. Her blurry vision gradually got clear and to her shock, she found herself on the road side of the next city where she resided surrounded by people shaking their heads in pity as they thought she was deceased.
"How did I get here?" Maria tried getting up...her head banged on.
The sympathizers were all shocked at what they saw. They all took to their heels assuming she was a ghost.
Maria tried recalling how she got there but she couldn't. Brenda's voice echoed in her head being the last she heard before passing out. It dawned on her that Brenda was behind it all.
"She was at the party too?! But why did she do this? This can only mean one thing... Mike and Dora must have been at the party as well" Maria pondered.

Dora's fury didn't die after the party. Her hatred for Kira increased and this time it almost made her a psychopath...If only she knew Kira was her sister her actions would have been quite different.
She was done with bullying and laying abusive words on Kira. Her lust for Henry made her agree to Brenda's dubious plans...
Dora laid in her bedroom sobbing as Brenda walked in.
"What's wrong baby? why are you in tears?" Brenda rushed to her sitting on the bed.
"Ever since she walked into that college. I lost my fame, friends and now she wants to take my love!"
"Who are you talking about darling?"
"I don't wanna say her name..I might just end up breaking things".
"It's fine if you don't wanna say her name but I'd like to know who has put my baby in this condition".
"Okay fine! I'll tell you!.. it's Kira, the girl I accused of theft at the house warming party".
"That thief?!"
"She's not a thief.. I actually accused her falsely".
"Oh goodness!"
"Please don't tell Dad about this".
"I won't darling. I promise".
"You always told me not to let people snatch what belongs to me".

Kira was returning from college all alone. She was worn out after a hectic day at school.
Hoping to reach the hostel as soon as possible, she walked faster.
Suddenly, she tripped over a banana peel...that was her gut feeling signaling her that danger lurked but she gave it no relevance assuming it was all an accident.
Few miles from the spot was a black car packed at the side of the lonely road. As she moved pass it, two men came out following her.
With a side look, she noticed they wore masks and held guns. She was filled with fright stuck between the idea of running or calling out to people.
She quickened her footsteps and they also quickened theirs.
"Oh no! They're unto me". Kira whispered in fear. The only option she had was running... unfortunately they caught up to her.
Dragging her forcefully into car, she screamed for help but no one answered. Kira's hand and feet were tied and her mouth taped..they took off speedingly.
Maria was still recovering from her experience the other day. unknown to her, Kira had been abducted.
The disheartening part of it all was that she totally forget the way to Dora's new residence.
The chemical she inhaled from the handkerchief erased a few memories.
Like they say "Destiny can be delayed but never denied" She was just days away from reuniting with her daughter.

It was getting dark and Emily became worried as Kira hadn't returned. She tried dialing her cellphone number but it didn't go through. Immmediately, she got dressed and headed for the college.
On reaching the lonely road, she saw Kira's cellphone lying there.
"This is Kira's... but how?... Oh my goodness!! this can't be true!" She rushed to the college which was a few steps away.
All the students were gone and silence filled the place.
"College is closed for the day! Why hasn't she returned?" Emily asked herself in fright.
Kira's phone rang...it was Maria calling. Emily picked up and wasted no time in telling her about the situation.
"What?! She's missing?"
"Yes auntie! I can't find her anywhere".
"Oh God! Where could she be? I should probably file a missing person's report". Maria panted over the phone.
"You can't do that now auntie! She's not been missing for up to 24 hours".
"That's true!"
"What do we do now?" Emily said going back to the hostel.
"Don't worry dear... keep searching. First thing tomorrow morning I'll be there".
"I'm really worried! What if she's been kidnapped".
"I'll be there in the morning... Infact I'm taking a night journey".

IN THE KIDNAPPERS DEN...
Kira sobbed pleading with them to let her go..She was tied firmly to a chair, her eyes blindfolded.
"I beg you.. let me go".
"Princess! We've not abducted you to hurt you". The head of the kidnappers said.
"Then what do you want from me?"
"Your father's money!"
"But I..."
"Shh... Not another word! Call the bastard!" He said to his partner who quickly put a call through to Mike.
Dora was supposed to be in Kira's position. There was a mixup and the abducters mistook Kira for Dora.
"Who's this?" Mike's voice came through.
"Mr Mike! We've your daughter here with us!"
As soon as Kira heard Mike's voice, she cried out...
"Please help me sir! Save me!"
She got slapped so hard by a feminine in their midst that she began to bleed.
"Keep your mouth shut!"
"Kira! Please don't hurt her!" Mike shouted.
"Her life is in our hands as it stands! Don't try to act smart with us... Just give us a randsom of ten million and you can have her back".
"Ten million?!"
"48 hours is all you've got! Don't waste our time". The kidnapper hung up.
"Oh the poor girl is in danger.. I've to act fast!" Mike hurried out.
THE NEXT DAY...
Maria arrived at the city..it seemed as though she hadn't been there before but the memories she had in the city weren't dead.
She stood at the hostel entrance waiting for Emily.
"Auntie! Thank God you're here" Emily hugged her.
"We don't have much time...who knows what might be happening to Kira now. Let's search the whole city for her".
"And if we don't find her?..."
"Then we'll file a missing person's report".
They went ahead with their search all to no avail.
"She's been kidnapped auntie! No doubt!"
Just then, Mike's call came through Kira's cellphone. Emily picked.
"Emily! Kira! she..."
"Do you know where she is sir?"
"She's been abducted!"
"Oh no! But how do you know about this?"
"I'll tell you about it later.. Just go to the police station and file a report".
"On it sir!"
"I'll send you an address! Meet me there as soon as you're done". He said ending the call.
"That voice sounds familiar!" Maria said.
"You know him?"
"I might know him...Well, nevermind! we have to do as he said". They both left for the police station while Mike arranged for the randsom.

The moment Brenda and Dora found out about Kira's kidnap, they jubilated as villans should.
"This is great news! There would be no need to go on with the plan Auntie".
"You think? She isn't going to remain there forever... would she?"
"Well... she's a middle class girl and I'm sure her entire family wouldn't be able to raise the randsom"
"She could better still get killed!"
"Auntie! I agree I despise her but I would never wish her death".
"Umm... darling! I blurted that out of anger". Brenda stuttered...
"I can understand! You're only being concerned and protective". Dora embraced her and left.
Brenda shut the door and leaned on the wall languishing..
"If only you knew what I did to your mother... But you can never find out.. You're my porn to remaining in this house and as long as you don't find out the truth, Mike's all mine".
She played with her hair smiling mischievously.

Emily and Maria successfully filed the report and requested that two corps accompanied them to the location Mike sent to them...
He emptied his bank account without a second thought... saving Kira was all he could think of..
Arriving at the kidnappers den, it was an abandoned building covered in bushes. Mike was a bit statled
"What if someone jumps me from behind?!" He thought.
Just then he got a call from Emily
"We're at the entrance sir"
"Do not come in! Only the corps should".
"Roger that sir!"
The corps moved in sneakily hiding in the bushes all armed.
"My poor child! I hoped nothing goes wrong" Maria said.
Mike's phone beeped again...the kidnappers call.
"I'm here! Come get your money".
"Good! Are you alone?"
"Of course I am! Just let her go! The money is complete".
"I see you! Don't try to make any wrong move... we're watching you".
"Why would I? Please release her".
"I'll be with you shortly".
Five minutes later, Rob... the head of the abducters came out of the building with Kira. Her hands were still tied and her mouth covered...she walked feebly.
"Kira!" Mike stretched his hands to receive her moving closer.
"Don't you dare!" Rob pointed a gun at him.
Mike halted lifting his hands.
"Drop the case right there slowly".
"Alright... Just don't shoot!" Mike layed the briefcase on the ground gently.
Rob went closer moving Kira along as he held firmly to her pointing a gun to her head.
He grabbed the briefcase swiftly, opened it to confirm the cash.
"It's complete! You have nothing to work about".
Rob pushed the feeble Kira to Mike who caught her immediately.
"It was nice doing business with you Mr Mike..now leave and don't look back!" He said pointing the gun at them.
They were about to leave...the corps jumped out of the bushes.
"Freeze! Drop your gun!"
"Oh sh*t! The corps!" He tried escaping.
"Don't move or we'll shoot! This building is surrounded!"
Rob dropped his gun and was handcuffed...the others were dragged out all in handcuffs. The corps retrieved the briefcase and returned it to Mike.
Kira cried as they left the building... She had such a terrific experience.
Her concerned Mom and Emily waited impatiently outside...their hearts filled with fear.
As soon as Maria sighted Kira, she rushed to her giving her a warm and tight embrace. They both had an emotional moment...
A big smile filled Mike's face as he approached them not until his eyes beheld Maria...he was shocked.
"Maria??!!"
She lifted her head to see who uttered her name! Her eyes met with her ex husband and she shouted in amazement
"Mike!!"

It felt like a sharp arrow pierced through Maria's heart...Her past was standing in front of her and she couldn't help but recall how much pain she suffered. An emotional staredown occurred between the heartbroken Maria and remorseful Mike.
"Mom! Have you both met before?" Kira managed to speak.
"No darling! Let's go! You've to get some rest!" She turned away holding Kira's hand.
"Please wait!" Mike said.
They paused...tears rolled down Maria's eyes. He walked up to her.
"You can't just walk away.. it's been 20 years"..
"It's doesn't matter! You kicked me out of your life! Remember?!"
"Come with me!" He grabbed Maria's wrist taking her under a tree.
"Girls! return to the hostel!"
"But Mom!"
"Go! Emily make sure to clean up her wounds"
"What's going on?!" Kira asked.
"Let's leave Kira! I'm sure she'll tell you all about it".

"After you left, I realized I made a big mistake by sending you away".
"Stop it Mike! There's nothing to talk about".
"Please listen to me...I searched for you. I swear I did".
"Why? You had Brenda so why look for me?"
"My lust for her lured me into marrying her. it wasn't love".
Maria bursted into laughter.
"Hilarious! You actually expect me to believe that?"
"From the look of things...I can tell Kira isn't aware of our separation".

Maria went to the hostel to check up on Kira before leaving.
"Do you know him? if you do then where? how? Why were you sad to see him?" Kira bombarded with questions.

"I feel there's something you're hiding from me".
"You're shouting already! You just got out of a terrifying incident".
"I want to know!"
"Fine! I'll tell you! He's your father!"

**Mike couldn't bring himself to confront Dora... Brenda wasn't gonna let him.. She had him wrapped in her hand making him dance to her tunes.
"You would do no such thing! She'd be shattered...you know how much she hates talking about her! Don't ruin her mood".
These were Brenda's words to him the moment he brought up the conversation.
Dora loved Maria as her 'savior' not knowing she was her mother.

The girls {Kira and Emily} went to spend their holidays with Maria and Linda.
Maria waited for Mike's feedback on the issue but once again her hope was tarnished as he didn't reach out.
"I should have known he wasn't gonna do anything!".
"Maybe he's finding it hard to handle the situation all by himself...I think he needs help" Kira opined.
"But he promised to fix it!"
"All this while I thought I was fatherless... I'm so glad I finally found him".
"You're not upset I lied to you about his existence?"
"Not at all Mom! All I want now is for all of us to become one happy family again".
"Becoming Mike's wife again isn't my intention...I just want to clear the misconceptions Dora has about me".
"Mom! I'm sure Dora needs you too!".
"It would hurt me more to be rejected by her".
"Why don't we pay them a visit?! We can't keep delaying this reconciliation".
"Brenda! She's a ruthless woman..."
"You might have allowed her have your husband and daughter years ago but now is the time to fight for them".
"You're actually right! I'll be going there for Dora's sake".
They both concluded on going to the city the next day.

There was a knock on the door... Brenda sat in the living room busy with her cellphone. She called out to Dora from within..
"Dora! There's someone at the door. Could you please get it?"
"Sure!" She walked down the stairs heading to the front door.
Immmediately her eyes beheld Maria, she hugged her with excitement.
"Auntie!"
Maria felt relieved returning the warm embrace. Kira was surprised that Dora was being so nice. She began to wonder if she had found out the truth.
"Come on in!" Dora opened the door widely. She held Kira back as she wanted to go in.
"I'm letting you into my house because of her. We're not friends!"
Kira smiled at her lovingly.
"Auntie Brenda! Look who we have here.. the lady who helped me out of a horrific condition on my birthday".
Brenda thought her eyes were deceiving her. "Am I dreaming?" She wiped her eyes and realizing it wasn't a dream, her heart began to burn.
"What are you doing here?!"
"You're yelling at my guest auntie! Do you know her?"
"Yes...No! I don't know her. She's just some random begger. They're both beggers".
"No auntie! They're not!"
Brenda moved closer to Maria
"You want money right? Don't worry! we'll give it to you".
Then she whispered in her ear..
"I know why you're here! If you try to go against me I'll make sure you're dealt with!"
"Do you think I came this far to be frightened by your threat?!"
Maria's boldness was a slap to Brenda's face but watching her ruin her plans was the last thing she wanted.
"What's going on here?" Dora asked.
"It's nothing sweetie. They would be leaving now!" She pushed them to the door.
"No we're not!" Kira walked back in.
"They just arrived so how could they be leaving? Auntie! tell me what's going on".
Brenda began to stammer... Mike came downstairs as soon as he heard the argument.
"Dad!" Kira rushed to embrace him.
"First auntie Brenda is acting strange now this girl is referring to my father as 'dad'? Someone please tell me what's happening here!"
"Come here Dora!"__Mike.
"You see... your mother...".
"What has that woman got to do with this situation?"
"Listen to me darling! She's your mother". Mike pointed at Maria whose eyes were filled with tears.
"Is this one of your jokes Dad?!"

He went ahead to explain everything to her...it was left to Dora to believe it or not.
"So you're telling me that this is the woman who left me twenty years ago?"

"I longed for you my whole life...Even though I had auntie Brenda, I still needed you!".
"It wasn't my fault...please my child. I also tried".

TWO WEEK LATER AT COLLEGE...
Dora saw Kira walking in with Emily. She began to feel guilty for her actions the last time. Even though she couldn't get herself to love Kira entirely, she thought of apologizing to her.
"I'll just apologise... Can't believe I'm doing this but I guess it's the appropriate thing to do".
She hurridly followed them...The fact that it was a very big college with a lot of students made her lose the sight of them.
"Where have they gone now?" She headed to their department.
MEANWHILE...
Henry was so thrilled to see Kira.
"Kira!" He hugged her; his musculic arms wrapped her tightly, his fine beard touched her face.. Unfortunately, Dora arrived at the spot slightly away from them..Her countenance changed, folding her fist in rage, she gnashed her teeth.
"How stupid of me to want to be her sister again! She doesn't even care!" Dora walked out disheartened.
Emily faked a cough then Henry freed Kira.
"I... I'm sorry. Well I just..."
"Umm... it's..." They both stammered in shyness.
"Okay this is getting awkward" Emily said jokingly leaving.
"I heard about your kidnap..it must have been a really bad experience". Henry said.
"It sure was" Kira replied.
"I'm very glad you're back...I can't bare to loose my favorite person". Henry said gently staring into Kira's eyes..
"What did you say?" Kira asked as she didn't hear him earlier.
"I'm glad you aren't being held captive anymore". Henry made a few steps away.
"Please wait!"
He immediately halted smiling.
"My studies... I've been..."
"You want me to help you out with your studies? Sure! I will" He spoke without letting her complete her sentence.
"Really? Thanks".
"Yes! Just text me the place and time".
They exchange cellphone numbers and parted ways.

Dora lamented to Brenda... Instead of curbing her anger and hatred, she indulged her to do more.
"You were right Auntie! They're my enemies not my family".
"Thank goodness you're beginning to see reasons with me".
"I hate her! She's not my sister!"
"You lived without them for twenty good years and you can still do with them".
"Whenever I speak to Henry, he's always in a hurry to end the conversation but the reverse is the case with Kira". Dora grieved.
"You told me he loves you".
"He does! I'm sure of it"
This took her back to the day Henry saved her life through mouth to mouth resuscitation when she got drowned in a pool months ago hence her reason for believing he was in love with her.
"Then you don't have to worry.. he'll come back to you".
"She wants to take everything that's mine! My dad.. Henry.. I just can't stand her!".
"Now's the perfect time to proceed with our plan.. don't you think so?"
"Yes auntie! This time I don't care if she dies!".
At first it was friendship and gradually feelings got involved then it became a chemistry.. Kira and Henry grew into each other.
They were seen almost everywhere together. If only Kira knew what was in store for her..Poor girl.
Dora was worse than ever.. her hatred for Kira grew and this time she could do anything to separate her from Henry.
Maria being a timid and emotional woman still yerned for her daughter who had become a complete psycho due to lust. Though she was scared to return to that house, she believed in destiny to reunite them...nevertheless, Mike continued to fulfill his fatherly duties towards Kira.

Brenda was dressed in black walking through a deserted area. She arrived at a dark old house and moved in gently looking through the dark.
"Stop!" A man's voice came from within holding a knife to her throat.
"It's me brawn!" She pulled off her mask.
"My apologies ma'am! Just being extra protective of my abode".
"I'm here for business".
"Good! What's it all about?".
"I want you to take out someone".
"I take out people for a living ma'am so bring it on!" The rascal blurted.
"Here's a photo".
"She's quite pretty". He rubbed his palms and licked his lips.
"No jokes brawn!"
"So when should the job be done?".
"Tomorrow night! No mistakes!"
"Her details?"
"I'll send it to you shortly".
"And the money?" His gaze got intense.
"When you get the job done".
"I demand that half the money be paid before the job's done!"
"Deal! Just don't make any mistakes!"
"Mistakes are not my thing! You have nothing to worry about". He retrieved the picture and hid it behind his pocket.
They both shook hands when the formalities were completed and Brenda walked out.
** It was 6:00am... College was dismissed for the day. Kira and Henry walked out engaged in a conversation. Suddenly, a car drove by them speedingly and a gunshot was heard.
There was pandemonium... everyone ran for their lives. No one except Kira noticed Henry fall to the ground...the bullet hit him through the heart and he bled profusely.
"Oh no! Henry!" Kira shouted trying to holding him up as he groaned in pain.
The tables got turned but unfortunately Henry had to suffer. The hoodlum failed to pull the trigger at the target which was Kira.
"Someone help me!" She cried out... Henry was loosing his breath.
She tried lifting him up but he was too weighty for her. The clouds turned black and a thunderous lighting striked.
A heavy down pour of rain rushed down from the sky... Kira's hands were covered in henry's blood.
"Emily!" She said trying to grab her cellphone which slipped through her hands severally. As soon as she got a hold of it, she quickly dialed Emily's number.
"Emily! I..."
"Why haven't you returned? I've waited for you all day"
"Please come to the college right away" Kira cried.
"What happened?"
"Just come here quickly please".
"It's raining! Oh damn it! I'll be there shortly".
FEW MINUTES LATER...
Emily arrived at the scene and was shocked at what she saw.
"Oh my God! How? Who?" She mumbled.
"Stop it with your mumbling! Help me! we need to take him to the hospital".
"Yes..yes!" Emily gave a helping hand and they both lifted him.
With his hands on their shoulders, they searched for a cab. Luckily, they were able to stop one and they got in. Henry had already fallen unconscious but still had little breath left in him.
At the hospital...
Kira reached out to his parents through his cellphone... it didn't go through. The girls pondered in the reception; their hairs wet and their clothes painted with blood. Kira cried her eyes out shivering in fear.
Later on, his Mom returned the call and rushed to the hospital immmediately she was told about the incident.
After spending about an hour or so there, the painful, sad and disheartening news was broken to them.
"He didn't make it! We lost him..the bullet went straight to his heart". The doctor said.
Wailing and sobbing filled the atmosphere. Kira had lost her first love and Uriel; Henry's Mom had lost her only child.
On the other hand Brenda and Dora celebrated. Their happiness was about to turn into grief as they hadn't found out the truth.

"Brenda!!" Dora shouted banging on the front door. She was just returning from college...the news had reached her ears.
"Hold on Dora!" Brenda hurried to the door and opened it.
Dora barged in almost hitting her.
"Why have you done this?!"
"What are you talking about?".
"We both agreed to get that girl k!lled then you went ahead and instructed those k!llers to murder Henry! Why Brenda?!!"
"The girl is dead! I gotta confirmation message from those guys".
"No! She isn't! I saw her! They killed my Henry instead!" Dora cried.
"That...that ca.. can't be possible!"
"I blame myself for ever trusting you! All these while, you never wanted my happiness!".
"That's not true Dora! I.."
"Shut it Brenda! Now you listen to me! Pack your things and leave before I call the corps on you!".
"Stop this Dora! I know you're upset... I'm sure Kira was the one shot. Let me give them a call". Brenda tried calling brawn.
"Just put that phone away!" Dora pointed her cellphone at her.
"Take a good look at this video! Your so-called k!llers did a wrong job!" She flinged the phone at the window in fury.
In the video was Kira and the other students mourning.
"What the... Oh sh*t! These guys!"
"Don't you dare pretend! You told them to kill him didn't you?!"

"It's...a mis..." Brenda ran short of words.
"They killed my Henry! Do you know what that means?!" Dora pushed Brenda to a couch. She pulled her hair in pain.
"Dora! You're going crazy!"
"Am I?!!" She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a knife.
Returning to the living room, she pointed it at her.
"You have taken my love away from me! Now how about I take your life?!". She moved nearer to Brenda.
"Stay back Dora! You're not in your senses! You have to control yourself!"
"Control myself! Fine! I'm calling the corps on you!".
She began to search for her cellphone as Brenda bursted into laughter.
"You want to call the corps? What proof do you have that I'm involved in all these?"
Dora paused! Her tears dropped on the floor.
"I'm gonna tell them the truth!"
"Without evidence? Don't be a fool sweetheart".
"I know what you're tryna do! You can't stop me!".
"I'm not stopping you! Go ahead and call them! I'll just show them this recording... we'll know who gets arrested.
"What recording?" Dora asked anxiously.
Brenda had a recording of Dora blurting out her hatred for Kira.
"Oh my gosh! You're a devil!" Dora exclaimed dropping the knife.
"Now don't try to mess with me! Mike mustn't know about this! infact no one should find out!" She picked up the knife threatening Dora.

Kira sobbed in her hostel room.. Emily tried consoling her.
"Who would have hated him so much to want him dead?!".
"The deed has been done Kira! I know how hurt you feel but crying won't bring him back".

"You've been in tears ever since... please don't hurt yourself". Emily sniffed.
"I couldn't protect him but I'm definitely getting to the root of his death!" Kira vowed.

Now that Brenda's dark side had been revealed to Dora, she became scared of her. Living in the same house as her turned out to be uncomfortable.
She was filled with regrets for her wrong actions towards her sister.
Visiting her at the hostel, she hoped to make peace.
"I'm sorry" Was the first thing she said as soon as she saw Kira.
"Come in!" Kira welcomed her with joy.
Even as Brenda threatened her not to let the cat out of the bag, she couldn't keep it from her sister. She narrated the whole thing to her.
"What?! You tried to murder me?!".
"It was all Brenda's idea! She pushed me into believing you had bad intentions".
"Oh no! Poor Henry! He lost his life for nothing!" Kira shaked her head in pity.
Dora held her hand pleading...she went on her knees.
"I asked that you forgive me. Please! Don't turn your back on me... we're sisters".
They both cried for minutes and then Kira held Dora's hands lifting her to her feet.
"I've waited for this day and it's finally here. I'm glad you realized your mistakes".
"So...? Have you forgiven me?"
"Of course!".
"Thank you sis!" Dora gave Kira a warm embrace. They were both in the moment shedding tears of joy.
"Take me to Mom...I also owe her an apology".
"No worries! I will but Brenda needs to be defeated!".
"She outsmarted me...I can't believe I lived with such cruel lady for years!"
"We lost Henry because of her and she has to pay for it!". Kira said.
"But how??"
"We have to take her down by eradicating whatever evidence she has and handing her over to the police!".
"She's more powerful than ever! Dad's properties are in her possession".
"Don't worry! We're gonna fight her as a family".
"You mean..."
"Dad and mom are gonna join us in this. She mustn't go scott free!".

Days later, the sisters travelled to Maria. Dora apologized falling at her feet.
"I've hurt you the most Mom! Please forgive me".
"My sweet child! I knew you'd come around.. and I've forgiven you a long time ago".
Reconciling with her daughter made Maria a fierce woman...Her girls were her strength and together they were ready to defeat Brenda.
Mike's joy knew no bounds as he heard about the reunion. Brenda on the other hand was no joke but a great threat to them. She could go extreme to get what she wanted.

Mike was the right person for the job__Getting rid of the recording Brenda had of Dora...
It was late at night. He walked into her bedroom with a bottle of wine and two glasses. Turning the lights off and putting on the lamp, he moved to Brenda who had just got out of the washroom.
"Mike! You're here!".
"Yes darling!" He said sitting on the bed.
"This is rather unusual! Is today a special day?".
"No it isn't! Aren't we a couple?"
"Yes but..."
"Then we should do what couples do. Do you care for a drink?" He raised a glass.
"Sure" Brenda smiled joining him on the bed.
They hadn't been intimate for years due to Mike's restrictions. He only needed her as a mother figure for Dora and Brenda didn't disagree to his stipulations.
So long as she had gotten some of his properties written in her name, she couldn't care less about not being shown affection...Her gaze was all on the wealth.
Mike's sudden niceness towards her that night was suspicious. Being a bad*ss lady, she knew it was too good to be true...she played along.
"I feel we haven't been spending much time together lately".
"It's no biggie! We had an agreement remember?"
"I know what I said but I change my mind now". Mike poured more wine in her glass.
"Really?" She took the drink from him and poured it into his glass.
"Of course! You've got a problem with that?".
"Not at all".

Mike excused himself to use the washroom. Meanwhile, Brenda went to her closet taking out a little bottle...she dropped in Mike's drink the liquid contained in the bottle and before Mike was out she was done with her mischief.
If only he was more cautious...Brenda was an actual villan.
He ignorantly had the spiked drink and in no time he was all woozy and dizzy. Brenda dragged him through the stairs back to his bedroom dumbing him on his bed lying almost lifeless.
But in every plot, a plan B is always needed.
FLASHBACK....
"In case dad doesn't get the job done, Dora!... you'll have to step in" Kira said in their meeting at Maria's place.
"What do I have to do?" Dora asked and Kira whispered in her ears.
"I'm in! I just hope it works!"
PRESENT____Brenda was about sneaking back to her room when Dora striked.
Knocking her out with a flower vase to her head, she searched for Brenda's cellphone. Not being able to unlock it she, broke it into pieces.
Kira was nearby waiting for Dora's call so she could get in and as soon as it came, she moved in hastily

By the time Brenda regained consciousness, the corps were already present. She couldn't believe her eyes...she had been beaten by her own game.
"What?!" She tried to speak...her voice was shrill and her hands cuffed.
"Ma'am you're under arrest for murder, blackmail and fraud".
"You must be joking officer! I did nothing of such!".
"Your words and actions right now could be used against you in the court of law".
Brenda stared at her enemies. The whole family complete__both parents and their girls.
"Dora! What're you doing with them?! You know they don't love you".
"Keep quiet Brenda! You were nothing but a bad influence on my life".
"No! She's the one against you!" She pointed at Maria.
"You would speak no negative words about my wife". Mike said in fury almost raising his hand to her.
"You're so evil! You even wanted me dead!" Kira shouted at her.
"Yes I did! You are lucky to be alive!".
"I can't stand this woman Dad! Tell the corps to get her out of here!". Dora leaned on Mike's chest.
"Please inspector! Take her away".
Brenda didn't cooperate with the corps. She tried escaping but was shot on the leg and dragged out of the apartment.

After the whole scenero...
Mike held Maria's hands and knelt before her.
"I regret ever throwing you out of my life. I curse the day I met that lady".
"Mike... just stop this".
"No! let me.."
"I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me".
"Get up! I've already forgiven you!"
Mike stood up and they both embraced each other warmly.
The girls watched on...How proud and excited they were to have their parents back.
"They look so good together"___Dora.
"Yes! I'm so happy about this"Kira replied.
"Me too" They went to the love birds and all had a family hug.
Brenda's case was presented in court months later and she was given a judgement....ten years imprisonment with hard labor.
Mike's properties which were in her possession was recovered.
Dora and Kira became so close... no one would have believed their rivalry was gonna come to an end.
